6/5 WWE RAW Results – We arelive from the XL Center in Hartford, CT, as Seth Rollins makes his way to the ring. Rollins takes his time to pose and hear the chants.

Seth welcomes everyone to Raw.  Seth says his week as World Champion has been a non-stop party.  In the midst of it all, he was thinking to himself when was the last time we had a championship match live on Raw.  He says it has been nearly two years.  Seth said to himself that two years is too damn long.  Seth says he put out an open challenge for tonight.

Seth says that open challenge was answered by Damian Priest. 

Seth says he has to be honest because he is psyched for this.  He says he wanted all the fight and he wants to fight the best.  Whether you love them or not, THE Judgment Day are as good as it gets.  Seth says he is looking forward to his opportunity tonight to show that while they are good, they are not as good as him.

The Judgment Day interrupts Seth’s catchphrase and Damian Priest and Finn Balor make their way to the ring.

Seth says he was saying nice things about you and then you have to ruin this party.  Seth wants to know where Dom and Rhea are.  Where are they coming from?  Are they under the ring making out?  

Damian says Rhea and Dom have their own business to worry about.  Priest says Damian should only worry about him. Seth asks if Damian and Finn do everything together. Finn tells Mr. Funny Man with the funny clothes, dance, laugh, and jokes that everyone loves Seth and loves to sing his song. The crowd figures why not start humming along.

Finn says you are not going to love when Damian beats you and takes the World Championship from you tonight.

Priest says he thinks Seth is a deserving champion.  You have a resume and you have beaten them all.  Priest says so has he.  Damian says Seth has a set to make an open challenge.  He says he will not fall.  He says he does not need Dominik, Rhea, or Finn to beat Seth.  

Seth asks if that is so and he says he likes the confidence.  Seth says if it is just them tonight, Priest doesn’t stand a chance.  Seth tells Priest to put his money where his mouth is.  Leave your crew in the back tonight.  He says it is best to keep the Prince in the back because he doesn’t do well in fights with him.  Seth cackles.

Finn says that Seth doesn’t get to decide and Priest says he accepts.  Priest says he will be the new World Champion at the end of the night.  You will go down as someone with the shortest title reigns.

Seth says his title reign is already longer than Finn’s and then Seth cackles and ‘dances’ away.

– Becky Lynch vs. Sonya Deville is next, after a commercial.

Women’s Money In the Bank Qualifier: Becky Lynch vs. Sonya Deville

Sonya says Becky will not make it to Money in the Bank because she is winning tonight.  She will cash in the briefcase and become champion.  Chelsea says she will tell everyone she told you so.

Chelsea gets on the apron to distract Becky but Sonya almost hits Chelsea.  Becky with a back heel kick but Sonya hits Becky from behind when Becky goes after Chelsea.  Sonya with kicks and a snap mare into a reverse chin lock.  Sonya slaps Becky and connects with a forearm.  Sonya runs into a back elbow and a boot.  Becky with a clothesline and a seccond one.  Becky with a leg lariat and a forearm in the corner.  Becky with an exploder.  Becky misses a boot in the corner but she connects with an elbow.  Becky with a cross body for a near fall.

Trish Stratus’ music plays and she comes out with Zoey Stark to watch in the aisle.

Sonya with a waist lock and a series of standing switches.  Becky with a reverse DDT for a near fall.  Sonya goes to the floor.

We go to commercial.

We are back and Sonya with forearms on the turnbuckles.  Sonya sets for a superplex and hits it.  Sonya gets a near fall.  Sonya and Becky exchange punches.  Becky with a forearm and a baseball slide to Sonya on the floor.  Becky sends Sonya back into the ring and Chelsea with a bicycle kick.  Sonya gets a near fall.  Becky with punches and an enzuigiri.  Becky is sent to the apron and Becky knocks Chelsea off the apron and into the ringside barrier.  Sonya grabs Becky and Becky sends Sonya into the ringside barrier a few times.  Becky sends Sonya into the ringside barrier again.  Sonya is sent back into the ring and Sonya counters a uranage into a rollup for a near fall.

Becky goes for DisArmHer but Sonya sends Becky into the ropes.  Sonya with a rollup and Chelsea helps to add more pressure on the cover but Becky kicks out.  The referee does not send Chelsea to the back.  Sonya with forearms and punches.  Sonya goes to the turnbuckles but Becky catches Sonya off the turnbuckles and hits a uranage for the three count.

Winner:  Becky Lynch

We go to commercial.

– We are back with a look back at what happened on Smackdown between Roman Reigns and The Bloodline.

Backstage:

Byron Saxton is in the back and he is with Sami Zayn and Kevin Owens.  Byron asks for their take on what happened. Sami says he is not the type ot say “I Told you so” but it is nice to see the Usos do what they should have done months ago.  Jimmy did.  We will have to wait to see what Jey will do.

Ludwig Kaiser and Giovanni Vinci show up and Kaiser says the Bloodline is not your problem, but while you hold those titles, you are their problem. Kevin says they didn’t say their name so they broke the rule.  He asks if they have any turtleneck shopping to do.

Gunther shows up and says Kevin lacks discipline and he will show Kevin discipline. Kevin says if Gunther has a problem with his temper, there is a ring and he can kick somebody’s ass because you’re it.

Owens and Zaym make their way to the ring as we go to commercial.

– We are back with a video for Kayden Carter and Katana Chance and they talk about how the worst thing is to be underestimated.  Kayden and Katana talk about what they have done outside of wrestling.   Carter says they bring the party and everyone is included.

Kevin Owens vs. Gunther

They lock up and Gunther backs Owens into the corner and gives a clean break.  They lock up and Gunther with a side head lock and take down.  Gunther holds on to the side head lock when Owens tries to send Gunther off the ropes.  Owens grabs the nose and Gunther with a shoulder tackle.  Owens with a front face lock but Gunther with an arm bar.  Owens gets to the ropes and Owens with a punch and forearms.  Owens with a side head lock.  Owens bounces off Gunther and Owens with punches to back Gunther into the corner.  Gunther with a kick and he misses a chop.  Owens with a chop and forearms.  Owens with a European uppercut but Gunther with a kick and German suplex.  Owens rolls to the floor and holds his head and neck.  

Owens with a kick and chop.  Gunther with a boot to the chest and he sends Owens head first into the ringside barrier.  Gunther with a back drop driver onto the apron.

We go to commercial.

We are back and Gunther gets a near fall.  

We see footage of Gunther getting his knees up on a Swanton by Owens before the end of the break.

Gunther with a slam and he does a neck snap using his boots.  Gunther works on the neck and Owens with punches to get free.  Gunther with a boot to the head for a near fall.  Gunther with more boots to the head and the referee checks on Owens.  Gunther pie faces Owens while berating him.  Gunther with chops to Owens.  Gunther with a Liontamer into a Boston Crab.  Gunther with elbows and he applies a crossface.  They get to their feet and Owens with punches.  Gunther with a chop.  Gunther goes for a suplex but Owens blocks it.  Owens with punches and Kevin goes for a fisherman’s buster but Gunther blocks it and hits a clothesline.

Gunther with another clothesline.  Gunther with a clothesline but Owens fires back with clotheslines.  Both men stay on their feet until Gunther hits a German suplex.  Owens with a German suplex after ducking a clothesline.  They exchange forearms and Gunther stops things with a chop and a boot to the back of the head.  Gunther with a front face lock but Owens with super kicks to send Gunther into the corner.  Owens with a cannonball for a near fall.  

Kevin with a snap mare to escape a sleeper.  Gunther with a drop kick.  Owens escapes a power bomb and Kevin with kicks and a fisherman’s buster for a near fall.  Owens goes up top and Gunther chops Kevin.  Gunther with a butterfly superplex for a near fall.  Gunther goes up top for a frog splash but Owens gets his knees up.  Kevin goes up top.

Kevin with a swanton for a near fall.  Vinci gets on the apron and Sami stops him.  Kaiser helps Vinci and Kevin helps Sami.  Kevin with a kick and stunner to Kaiser and Gunther with a rollup for the three count.

Winner:  Gunther

After the match, Gunther asks for rispect.

We go to commercial.

Backstage:

Cathy Kelley is in the back with Matt Riddle. Riddle says he is tired of Gunther cheating week after week.  Gunther wouldn’t be the champion if it wasn’t for Kaiser and Vinci.

Kaiser and Vinci show up and tell Riddle to show Gunther respect.  He asks Riddle what is he going to do about it. Riddle punches Kaiser and puts Vinci in an ankle lock until officials come over to stop Riddle. Vinci holds his ankle.

Backstage:

Byron is in the back with Shayna and Ronda. Byron asks what does it mean to them to be the champions. Shayna says this was destiny and last week they tortured and maimed three other teams to become the champions.  Ronda says it is time to legitimize the titles and they will face anyone.

Kayden Carter and Katana Chance says they are ready to face them.  Kayden and Katana says they are here to make a statement and they can make an example by challenging for the titles. Ronda praises them for their stupidity and Shayna says it is ignorance or bravery.  Shayna says the sound of your tendons and ligaments being torn take care of bravery. Ronda says they will see them in the ring.

We go to commercial.

Kayden Carter and Katana Chance vs. Ronda Rousey and Shayna Baszler

Shayna and Kayden start things off and Shayna with a leg sweep on the break.  They lock up and Carter with a leg sweep in the corner.  Carter with an O’Connor Roll but Shayna kicks out and Carter with a springboard drop kick.  Chance trips Shayna and Carter with a kick.  Chance with a slingshot senton for a near fall.  Ronda tags in and she wants a piece of Carter.  Ronda with a back heel kick to Carter and a judo throw to Chance.  Chance with a kick and Ronda sends Carter to the apron.  Chance misses a splash and Ronda with a knee and a triangle in the ropes.  Carter super kicks Ronda from the floor.  Carter with a cross body onto Shayna while Chance hits a twisting pescado onto Ronda.

Shayna drops Chance’s arm on the top rope and Ronda with a judo throw.  Shayna tags in and Ronda with an arm wringer and Shayna with a sliding boot for a near fall.  Shayna works on Chance’s wrist and then she stomps on the elbow.  Chance with a forearm but Shayna with an Irish whip.  Chance kicks Shayna and Ronda.  Chance avoids a suplex and Carter tags in.  Carter with a punch and forearm.  Carter with a drop kick in the corner.  Carter with a victory roll into a back heel kick.  Carter with a running boot to the head against the ropes.  Carter with a reverse Last Train to Clarksville for a near fall.  

Ronda tags in and hits a thrust kick and she rolls through but Chance tags in.  Ronda goes into the ring post after Carter moves out of the corner.  Chance kicks Shayna from the turnbuckles and they hit the 450 splash and neck breaker combination but Shayna pulls Chance off Ronda to break up the cover.  Chance with a cross body for a near fall.  Ronda with an ankle locck and Chancce tries to get to the ropes but Ronda pulls her into the center of the ring.  Chance sends Ronda into the corner and hits a Codebreaker.  Shayna tags in and hits a back elbow.  Carter makes the bliind tag.  Carter with a rollup for a near fall.  Shayna with a round kick and a Saito suplex.

Shayna with a Kirifuta Clutch and Carter taps out.

Winners:  Shayna Baszler and Ronda Rousey

Backstage:

Ricochet is in Gorilla and Bronson Reed shows up and he talks about how lucky Ricochet is to be in the Money in the Bank match.  Ricochet says he beat Miz to get into Money in the Bank.  He points out that Reed lost to Nakamura.  Bronson says he dominated Shinsuke.  Reed says the next time will be a different result. Ricochet says he has to give Nakamura respect for beating Reed.

We go to commercial.

– We are back with a look at Johnny Gargano.  People can consider him to be the underdog.  He has something that people cannot measure.  He is a kid from Cleveland and he travelled the world for ten years.  He was given a WWE tryout and he was told there wasn’t a place for him.  Five years later, he was the face of that brand.  Now he is a staple of Raw.  Underestimate him.  That is where he thrives.  He says he might not be the biggest but he works tirelessly at his craft and he has fun doing his way.  The Johnny Gargano story is just getting started.

Ricochet vs. Shinsuke Nakamura

Ricochet with a kick and Nakamura with a side head lock.  Nakamura with a shoulder tackle and Ricochet with an arm drag.  Ricochet with a head scissors and Nakamura escapes and misses a kick.  Ricochet with a handstand head scissors.  Ricochet has a kick blocked and Nakamura with a back elbow.  Ricochet with a drop kick.  Nakamura goes to the floor.  Ricochet goes for a suicide dive but Nakamura with a kick.  Ricochet kicks Nakamura off the turnbuckles to the floor.  Ricochet with a twisting plancha onto Nakamura.

We go to commercial.

We are back and Nakamura goes for the reverse exploder but Ricochet lands on his feet and he hits a handspring back elbow.  Ricochet and Nakamura exchange forearms.  Ricochet goes to the apron and he sends Nakamura into the turnbuckles and he kicks Nakamura.  Ricochet with a springboard cross body and a shooting star press for a near fall.  

Ricochet and Nakamura both miss kicks.  Ricochet with a back heel kick to send Nakamura into the corner.  Ricochet with a cross body in the corner and he misses a second one.  Nakamura with a knee to the midsection and he chokes Ricochet.  Nakamura with a sliding German suplex.  Nakamura with a spinning heel kick and a reverse exploder.  Nakamura sets for Kinshasa but Ricochet wtih a jumping knee and Recoil.  

Ricochet goes to the turnbuckles but Nakamura stops him.  Ricochet goes up top and Nakamura with a forearm to stop Ricochet.  Nakamura sets for a superplex and Ricochet with punches to stop Nakamura.  They exchange punches.

Bronson Reed comes out and he hits a splash on Nakamura while Ricochet leaps over Ricochet.

No Contest

After the match, Reed gets Ricochet on his back and he hits a back senton splash off the turnbuckles onto Nakamura.  Reed with a body block and Tsunami to Ricochet.

– We take a look at what happened between Valhalla and Maxxine Dupri last week.

Backstage:

Maxxine is in the back with Otis and Chad.  Otis says it doesn’t matter what Maxxine calls her.  Chad says Otis is the reason they came together.  Chad tells Maxxine that an Alpha does not run from a fight.   Maxxine asks why are the Vikings going after them.  Chad says he gave Otis materials to figure out how to beat them. Otis says they are going to take them out with some deoderant.  Otis says Chad will teach the pretty lady to take on the Viking Lady. Chad says they can’t train Maxxine dressed like that.  Maxxine says she has the perfect item in her locker.

– Cody Rhodes walks in the back. We go to commercial.

Miz TV:

We are back and The Miz welcomes everyone to MizTV.   He says he needed to secure a special guest worthy of a night like tonight.  He brings out his guest, Cody Rhodes.

Miz tells Cody he looks ‘dashing’ tonight.  He asks Cody about what he said last week when he challenged Brock Lesnar, the man who beat him at Night of Champions and broke his arm and challenged Brock to a fight.  Miz asks if that is stupid.

Cody calls Miz ‘Mike’ and Miz corrects Cody.  Cody says he hadn’t heard it called stupid until now.  He heard people say it was crazy and some said it took balls and Cody says Miz knows a little something about that.  The Beast is on his annual hibernation so we won’t be seeing him for a while.

Miz says he likes controversy and drama on MizTV and he has a surprise.  It is bigger than Brock Lesnar being here.  Miz says he wanted to bring out a man who has dealt with multi generational problems.

Miz brings out Dominik Mysterio who, of course, is accompanied by Rhea Ripley.

Rhea interrupts Miz and says that Dom has something to say.

Cody tells the people not to boo Dom.  Rhea tells everyone to show respect to her Latino Heat.

Dom says he was happy when Miz invited him out here.  You were talking last week like you were the big dog in the yard.  For someone who has done hard time, you are a little birdie with a broken wing.  Dom says he watched Cody run off a list of crappy towns for Brock to find out.  Dom says that Cody is a bad father.  Dom says Cody should be taking care of his baby girl, but you are here.  You are just like Rey, a deadbeat dad.

Cody says the 15 minutes Dom spent in prison was tough.  It was hard times indeed.  Cody says Dom has a worst prison tattoo than his.  You had a match at Wrestlemania, but it was more of a public spanking.  Nobody is perfect.  Cody says he knows that Rey has made some terrible mistakes because he is looking at one.

Rhea and Dom start to walk away and Cody turns his back and Dom slaps Cody and then hides behind Rhea. Rhea tells Cody to hit her.  Dom and Rhea leave the ring. Since Rhea and Dom weren’t in the ring any more, Cody hits Miz with the cast.

– Damian Priest is in the back getting ready for his match against Seth Rollins.

– Trish Stratus and Zoey Stark make their way to the ring as we go to commercial.

Women’s Money In the Bank Qualifier: Zoey Stark vs. Natalya

They lock up and Zoey backs Nattie into the corner and Zoey with kicks.  Zoey pushes Nattie and kicks her some more.  Zoey with forearms.  Natalya with a rollup for a near fall.  Nattie with a waist lock and Zoey with a snap mare but Nattie holds on to the waist lock and then applies a hammer lock.  Natalya with a fireman’s carry to hold on to the hammer lock.  Natalya tries to get a cover but Zoey keeps her shoulders off the mat.  Natalya floats over and her knee gives out.  Zoey with a back heel kick.  Zoey kicks the leg in the ropes.  Zoey with a kneeDT.  Zoey twists the ankle but Natalya reverses.  Zoey with a shoulder tackle.  Natalya with a judo throw and kicks.  Natalya with a German suplex and a jackknife cover for a near fall.  Natalya goes for the Sharpshooter.

Zoey gets to the ropes to force a break.  Zoey goes to the floor to discuss strategy with Trish.  Natalya with a thrust kick and she sends Zoey back into the ring.  Trish kicks Natalya in the leg and Zoey hits Z360 for the three count.

Winner:  Zoey Stark

Backstage:

Paul Heyman is in the locker room and he introduces himself.  He says he wants to invite everyone to join him when a family drama plays out in front of your eyes.  Jey Uso will make his historic choice.  Paul says he is tasked with providing unpleasant news and he has to deliver it, even if he has to deliver it to Roman Reigns.  This is one of those times.  The news is not pleasant.  It will rip apart the entire Anoa’i/Fatu dynasty.  Jey will make his choice and Jey will choose and stand by his brother… Solo.

You can share a womb with your twin Jimmy, but you will never be closer to him in life than you are to Roman.  This Friday, on Smackdown, Jey Uso will acknowledge that fact, or else.

We go to commercial.

Shelton Benjamin and Cedric Alexander vs. Veer and Sanga

Sanga attacks Sheton and sends him to the floor.  Veer with a clothesline to Cedric.  Veer and Sanga with a side slam and leg drop combination on Cedric.

The referee checks on Cedric and he says the match will not happen. Veer goes back to the turnbuckles for a leg drop while Sanga hits a side slam.

– Seth Rollins is in the locker room getting ready for his match.

We go to commercial.

Damian Priest vs. Seth Rollins for the World Heavyweight Championship

They lock up and Priest with a clean break and he has some words for Seth.  Seth takes Priest’s nose and he punches Priest.  Seth with chops.  Seth slides into the corner on an Irish whpi and Preist with a head butt.  Rollins with a kick to send Priest to the floor.  Seth with a knee off the apron to the temple.

We go to commercial.

We are back and Priest with a punch.  Rollins with a kick and he tells Priest to come to him and Rollins sends Priest over the top rope when he drops down.  Priest with a knee and he tries to run Rollins into the ring post but Seth does the honors.  Rollins is sent into the timekeeper’s area and Rollins tries for a springboard move off the barrier but Priest with a forearm.  Priest with punches and kicks in the corner.  Priest chokes Rollins in the ropes.  Priest with a forearm in the corner.  Priest with an Irish whip and a thrust kick for a near fall.  Priest with a reverse chin lock.  Rollins with a punch but Priest with a forearm for a near fall.  Prieat with a kick to the back.and then to the chest.  Priest with a forearm and he stretches Rollins on the mat.

Priest with a forearm to the back.  Rollins with elbows but Priest with a forearm to the lower back.  Rollins with an enzuigiri and both men are down.  Seth with punches as he blocks punches from Priest.  Rollins with punches and chops.  Rollins with clotheslines but Priest stays on his feet.  Priest misses a boot and Seth with a super kick and a kick followed by a clothesline.  Rollins with a forearm in the corner followed by a back breaker.  Rollins goes up top and Rollins misses a frog splash but rolls through.  Priest with a kick and a back elbow into the corner.  Priest runs into a boot and Seth sets for a Pedigree but Priest with a back drop and Seth with a sunset flip for a near fall.

Rollins with sling blade.  Seth with a suicide dive but Priest catches Seth and hits a flatliner onto the announce table.

We go to commercial.

We are back and Priest stops a sunset flip power bomb and Priest punches Rollins.  Priest with punches to Rollins to knock him to the mat.  Seth with a superplex and Priest tries for Broken Arrow but Seth counters with a Falcon Arrow for a near fall.  Priest goes to the floor and Rollins with a suicide dive to send Priest into the announce table.  Rollins with another suicide dive and he goes back into the ring for a third one and he sends Priest over the announce table.  Seth sends Priest into the ring.  Rollins with a super kick and then Seth goes up top for a frog splash and Seth hits it for a near fall.  Seth goes for a rolling elbow but Priest with a forearm followed by kicks to the midsection and back of the leg.  Rollins with a rolling elbow.

Priest with a head lock driver for a near fall.   Rollins escapes a power bomb and then he escapes South of Heaven.  Priest with a forearm and he runs into a boot.  Priest with a cyclone kick to Rollins on the turnbuckles.  Priest with a Frankensteiner for a near fall.  Priest with a short arm clothesline and he hits a second one while holding Seth up.  Rollins floats over and hits a Pedigree for a near fall.  Priest rolls to the apron and Rollins follows.  Priest boxes the ears and Seth with a power bomb into the ringside barrier.  

Rollins kicks Balor who tries to interfere.  Priest with a clothesline and South of Heaven for a near fall.  Priest asks Finn why is he here.  Priest tries for Razor’s Edge but his shoulder is bad and Rollins escapes and hits a series of kicks and KO followed by Black Out for the three count.

Winner:  Seth Rollins

After the match, Balor gets in the ring and stares down Seth.

We go to credits.
