6/19 WWE RAW Preview

We are live from the Rocket Mortgage Fieldhouse in Cleveland, Ohio, as Seth Rollins makes his way to the ring.

After the usual chants, Finn Balor attacks Seth from behind while the crowd hums along. They fight to the floor and Seth sends Balor into the announce table.  Balor sends Seth into the ring post and punches him.

Referees and officials come out to hold Finn back. Finn outsmarts the officials and hits a running double stomp off the ring steps. Balor tries to conduct the crowd but they don’t respond.  Finn with a double stomp off the announce table.

Finn finally heads to the back, but he wants some more and hits another running double stomp off the ring steps.

We go to commercial with what probably was the shorter opening segment in WWE history.

– We are back with a look at what happened to Seth Rollins over the last five minutes.

Backstage:

Seth is walking in the back and he is looking for Balor. Balor attacks Seth from behind and they fight through the garage.  Balor sends Seth into storage cases and then kicks him. Finn says he has been waiting for seven years for this and it happens at Money in the Bank.

In the Arena:

Miz is in the ring and he wants to talk about his problem.  Miz says Seth promised an open challenge, but he did not deliver.  Miz says he was going to accept that challenge and become World Champion.  Miz says he is worshiped like a God in this depressing hell hole.  He was going to give the people of Cleveland an opportunity for one of their own to win the title. Miz says he is making an open challenge so people can see a winner among a group of losers.

The returning Tommaso Ciampa makes his wya to the ring and Miz is in a good mood because of their past alliance.

As soon as he enters the ring, Ciampa punches Miz and the referee starts the match.

Tommaso Ciampa vs. The Miz

Ciampa with kicks and they go to the floor.  Ciampa punches Miz and sends him into the announce table.  Ciampa adjusts the announce table and hits a belly-to-back suplex onto the hood.  They return to the ring.  Ciampa with clotheslines in the corner and a running clothesline.  Ciampa pulls down the knee pad but he misses a running knee to the head. 

Miz with a DDT for a near fall.  Miz slams Ciampa’s head into the mat and connects with a boot to the head.  Ciampa with a chop and Miz with a boot to the head. Miz with kicks in the corner.  Ciampa with punhes and chops.  Miz with an Awesome Clothesline and Ciampa with a knee as Miz comes off the turnbuckles.  Ciampa with Fairy Tale Ending for the three count.

Winner:  Tommaso Ciampa

After the match, Ciampa stands tall as the music hits and we go to replays. Ciampa poses in the corner now.

– We go back to the ring and out comes The Judgment Day – Finn Balor, Damian Priest, Dominik Mysterio and WWE Women’s World Champion Rhea Ripley. They head to the ring as we go back to commercial.

In the Arena:

We are back and The Judgment Day are still on the stage and Finn is still pacing.

Finn Balor tells Seth his little Open Match Challenge is canceled.  It’s canceled because of him.  He is the only one who is going to take the World Championship from him.  If you like singing his song so much, you will be singing it at his funeral.  

Rhea Ripley tells everyone to sit down and respect The Judgment Day and their Mami.  The WWE Universe will be bowing at their feet while Finn wins the World Title and Rhea maintains her spot as the most dominant women in the company.  Damian Priest will win the Money in the Bank briefcase.  Her Dom Dom will put down Cody.

Damian Priest says in two weeks, the briefcase comes home with him.  More importantly, the contract inside will have the name Damian Priest written all over it.  Speaking of Money in the Bank, Cody said that Dom is getting gassed for a fight he cannot win.  Priest tells Cody to keep his friend’s name out of his mouth or he will never be able to fight anyone again.

It is time for Dominik Mysterio and the crowd welcomes him with tons of boos. He tells Cody to find two partners to face the united Judgment Day.

– We see what happened during the Bloodline Drama on SmackDown.

Backstage:

Byron Saxton is in the back with Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn.  They ask about what happened on Friday.

Kevin wants to know why they are always asked about the Bloodline.  Kevin says they don’t care.  Sami says he has to talk to Kevin and he says enough is enough.  Kevin wants Sami to tell him what he has to say. Sami says that Kevin is a Rage-a-holic.  He says that Kevin has an anger problem and Kevin yells at Sami and says he doesn’t.  Sami says if Kevin does not have a tantrum tonight, he will let it go.  But if Kevin has a tantrum tonight, Kevin has to admit he has a problem. Kevin walks away and Sami apologizes to Byron.

– Chelsea Green and Sonya Deville vs. Kayden Carter and Katana Chance is next, after a commercial.

– When we return, we see social media footage that shows a bunch of random entitled Karen clips and then we see a new one that shows Chelsea Green in a road rage incident, throwing her coffee at some random driver.

When we return live we see Green reacting to the video, claiming it wasn’t her. We then see split-screen “earlier today” footage of Deville and Green bickering with Katana Chance and Kayden Carter backstage.

Chelsea Green and Sonya Deville vs. Kayden Carter and Katana Chance

Sonya and Chance start things off.  Green distracts Chance and Sonya with a bicycle kick and then she kicks Chance in the corner.  Green tags in and she chokes Chance.  Green with a short arm clothesline.  Green knocks Carter off the apron.  Chance with a Silly String head scissors.  Carter tags in and she hits a clothesline on both women in the corner.  Carter with a drop kick to Sonya into a splash to Green.  Chance tags in and Carter and Chance with a moonsault and springboard leg drop combination for a near fall.  Chance tags in and they hit the After Party for the three count.

Winners:  Kayden Carter and Katana Chance

In the Arena:

Cathy Kelley is on the stage and she brings out Cody Rhodes.

Cathy asks Cody about Dom’s challenge.  Cody says the crowd is on fire and THE Judgment Day are on fire too.  Cody talks about what the members of The Judgment Day can do at Money in the Bank.  Cody says finding two guys shouldn’t be hard and he accepts the challenge.

Back to commercial.

Cedric Alexander and Shelton Benjamin vs. Indus Sher

Shelton with a knee to Sanga and Cedric and Shelton with kicks to Veer.  Shelton and Cedric with knees to knock Sanga off the apron.  Sanga catches Cedric but Shelton with a blockbuster off the steps.  Veer with a flying clothesline to Shelton and Sanga drops Cedric on the ringside barrier.  Shelton with punches to Veer but Veer with a kick and double thrust to the throat.  Sanga tags in and Sanga with a running boot while Veer holds Shelton on the top rope.  Veer tags in and they hit an elbow drop and side slam combination for the three count.

Winners: Indus Sher

Backstage:

Kevin and Sami walk in the back and someone bumps into Kevin and they spill water on Kevin.  Kevin says that is fine.  He says he doesn’t have an anger problem, he has an idiot problem.  They walk up to Matt Riddle. Riddle starts to talk about movies and Kevin says they are great movies and he wishes him luck on in his match.  Riddle slaps Kevin in the chest and Kevin tells Riddle not to touch him.

We go to commercial.

In the Arena:

Logan Paul is sitting on top of a ladder and he says it is great to be back in Ohio.  He talks about seeing people full of untapped potential, just like him.  He says the best people in the world come from Cleveland.  You have Lebron James, Jerry Lawler, Logan Paul.  Logan says he thinks about moments that made him great.  That was when he left Cleveland for Hollywood while you froze your asses off in the winter.  He says the Browns still suck.  Logan says he is the best that you people have.

He talks about people from Cleveland lose.  Jake lost his last fight.  Logan says he lost to Seth Rollins.  Miz lost tonight.  Logan says it ends tonight.  

Logan says he called the executives and he got a special invitation to compete in the Money in the Bank ladder match.  He says he will win the match and he is going to cash in and win against the champion of his choice.

Ricochet interrupts and makes his way to the ring. He wanted to congratulate Logan on getting into the ladder match.  He says we understand that Logan has a big social media presence.  Ricochet says he knows and everyone knows the only reason you were added to the match is because Ricochet does what he always does.  He made Logan go viral at the Royal Rumble.  He does not care how Logan got in the match because it does not change that he wins the match.  

Shinsuke Nakamura interrupts and he asks Ricochet if he is serious that he does not care.  Nakamura says he cares and it means more to him to win.

LA Knight interrupts and he comes out.  He talks about how Logan Paul makes videos for 14 year old girls on social media and he says that he is going to win the match at Money in the Bank.

Santos Escobar interrupts and he says empty promises and lies.  He welcomes Logan to the party but none of that matters.  At Money in the Bank, the one representing the LWO will win.

Butch makes his way to the ring and he punches Logan.  Santos and Ricochet go to the floor.  Knight comes off the apron and Nakamura kicks him.  Logan punches Butch off the apron.  Logan with a flip dive onto Santos and Ricochet.  

Logan climbs the ladder and touches the briefcase.

– We take a look back at Finn Balor’s vicious attack on Seth Rollins earlier in the show.

Commentators give a medical update on Seth Rollins and say he’s not able to compete. They also wonders if Rollins can face Bron Breakker tomorrow night on NXT Gold Rush.

– Matt Riddle versus Ludwig Kaiser is next, after a commercial.

Matt Riddle vs. Ludwig Kaiser

They lock up and they go into the corner.  Kaiser misses a forearm and Riddle with kicks.  Kaiser blocks a kick and Riddle with an ankle lock.  Riddle has a kick blocked and Kaiser slaps Riddle and sends him into the turnbuckles.  Kaiser with a punch.  Kaiser puts Riddle in the ropes and hits a drop kick.  Riddle with forearms.  Kaiser fires back and they continue the exchange.  Riddle wtih a gutwrench suplex and he rolls through with a second one.  Riddle with a back senton and then he goes to the apron and kicks Kaiser in the chest.  Gunther distracts Riddle and Kaiser ccliips Riddle and hits a hanging DDT to the floor.

We go to commercial.

We are back and Riddle is knocked off the turnbuckles but Riddle gets back up and Riddle with a superplex and both men are down.  Kaiser and Riddle exchange chops and forearms.  Riddle with a Pele Kick and running forearms in the corner.  Riddle with an exploder but he misses a running kick and a moonsault.  Kaiser gets his knees up on a back senton from Riddle.  Riddle with a head scissors to send Kaiser over the top rope to the floor.  Riddle with a twisting Asai Moonsault.

They return to the ring and Riddle with a fisherman’s buster for a near fall.  Riddle gets Kaiser up but Kaiser gets to his feet and he hits an enzuigiri.  Riddle with a kick to the head and a jumping knee.  Riddle with a springboard move but Kaiser counters into a Finlay slam for a near fall.  Kaiser with a chop and kick into the corner followed by an exploder.  Kaiser goes to the turnbuckles and goes for a corkscrew back elbow but Riddle with a German suplex.  Riddle with Bro Derek for the three count.

Winner:  Matt Riddle

After the match, Gunther gets in the ring and he misses a chop.  Riddle with a series of kicks but Gunther blocks a kick and he kicks Riddle in the leg.  Kaiser with punches to Riddle.  Kaiser holds Riddle in a crucifix while Gunther stomps on the leg.  

We go to commercial.

– We are back and we are told that Seth Rollins will be on the Pat McAfee show tomorrow.

– We see Riddle being helped in the back.

Backstage:

Kevin and Sami are talking and Sami talks about how Kevin was close to breaking. Ludwig and Gunther stop by and Kaiser asks Kevin and Sami if they saw what happened to Riddle.  He says if they are not careful, the same will happen to you. Kevin starts to yell at Kaiser and Sami says they have to do something and they leave.

– We take a look at footage from earlier today of Maxxine training with Coach Chad.  Chad says everyone underestimated Coach Gable’s abilities.  Valhalla will be ready this week.  He says it is all in the hips.

Alpha Academy vs. The Viking Raiders

Chad and Erik start things off and Erik with a wrist lock and a side head lock into a reversal and suplex.  Ivar tags in and Otis decides that it is time for him to get involved.  Otis with a side head lock and Ivar bounces off Otis.  Otis with a splash into the corner and Ivar falls to the mat.  Otis rips off the shirt and it is Caterpillar time but Erik is not a fan.  Otis punches Erik and Ivar with a spin kick of doom.  Erik tags in and they punch Otis many times.  Erik backs Otis into the corner and Ivar tags back in and he punches Otis.  Ivar with a front face lock.  Otis powers his way towards his corner but Ivar with a knee and forearm to the back.  Ivar sets for a suplex but Otis with the suplex.  Gable and Erik tag in and Chad with a punch and double thrust followed by a knee.  Gable with a kick and a flip neck breaker.  Gable goes for an exploder on Ivar but Ivar blocks it.  Gable clotheslines Ivar over the top rope.  Chad with an exploder to Erik.

Chad goes up top and hits a moonsault onto Erik and Ivar.Erik is sent back into the ring and Gable goes up top again.  Chad with a diving head butt for a near fall.  Gable waits for Erik to get up and Valhalla gets on the apron.  Maxxine pulls Valhalla off the apron and hits a suplex.  Otis and Maxxine celebrate on the floor while Chad is distracted on the ring. Erik with a full nelson slam into a knee to the upper back for the three count.

Winners: The Viking Raiders

Backstage:

The Judgment Day are in the back and Dom says it does not matter who Cody picks and he says they are on the same page.  Finn says they are on the same page.  Priest says their issues aren’t with each other.  Rhea says she is looking forward to seeing what they do to Cody after what he said about THE Judgment Day, but she has some business to take care of.

Rhea Ripley Makes her way to the ring as we go to commercial.

Rhea Ripley vs. Natalya

Before the match, Cathy Kelley asks Natalya how does she prepare for her match. Natalya says the match at Night of Champions rocked her to the core.  She does not know where she belongs.  it is a chance for her to prove to Rhea that she belongs and a chance to prove to herself that she belongs.  

Natalya makes her way to the ring and Rhea attacks her while she poses on the apron.  Rhea with forearms and kicks to Natalya.  Rhea sends Natalya into the ringside barrier and then into the ring steps.  Rhea sends Natalya into the apron.  Rhea sends Natalya back into the ring and hits RipTide while the referee calls for help from the back.

Backstage:

We see Raquel Rodriguez watching on MONITOR and she is not smiling. Raquel says it is an honor to step in the ring with a legend like Trish.  Raquel says what Rhea did to Natalya is not cool.  She says when she wins at Money in the Bank, she is going to cash in on Rhea.Rhea shows up in Gorilla and asks Raquel what did she say. Raquel says that Rhea isn’t ready for Raquel.

Backstage:

Cody Rhodes is in the back and Akira Tozawa tells Cody he is his man if he is looking for a partner.  Cody thanks Tozawa.

Sami and Kevin show up and Sami says they got his text and if Cody has a problem with THE Judgment Day then he has their back. Cody says Tozawa asked to be his partner and Kevin is angry they missed out because he wants to punch someone in the face. Cody says he didn’t accept his offer and he would love to have Kevin and Sami be his partners. Kevin is happy that he gets to punch people in the face.

Raquel Rodriguez vs. Trish Stratus in a Money in the Bank Qualifying Match

Before the match, Trish says Cleveland is lucky to get to see her qualify for Money in the Bank.  Then she will make history when she becomes Ms. Money in the Bank, or Zoey.  As long as it isn’t Becky.

Back in the ring and Trish with punches and kicks.  Raquel catches Trish on a Thesz Press and ragdolls her before Raquel sends Trish to the mat.  Raquel with a slam and a splash into the corner.  Trish has the referee hold Raquel back.  Raquel with a waist lock and Trish with elbows and a slap.  Trish backs off but Raquel runs Trish into the corner and connects with shoulders.  Raquel with an Irish whip but she misses a shoulder when Trish moves.  Raquel hits the ring post and Trish with a tornado DDT for a near fall. 

Trish with more near falls.  Trish slams Raquel’s head into the mat and rubs her face in the mat.  Trish with a kick to Raquel and she chokes Raquel in the ropes.  Trish with a reverse chin lock from the turnbuckles but Raquel gets Trish on her shoulders and runs Trish into the turnbuckles.  Raquel misses a boot in the corner.  Trish with a kick and then she tries to tie Raquel’s hair in the turnbuckles but Raquel goes for a power bomb and Trish counters with a rana that sends Raquel into the turnbuckles.

Trish with a punch and a camel clutch.  Raquel gets to her feet while Trish fish hooks Raquel.  Raquel escapes and she sends Trish into the corner and hits a splash.  Raquel with snake eyes and a clothesline.  Raquel gets Trish up for a fallaway slam.  Trish falls to the floor.  Raquel goes to the floor and she sends Trish back into the ring.  Zoey trips Raquel on the apron and then Trish sends Raquel into the ring post for a near fall.

Becky Lynch ocmes out and hits Zoey from behind and sends her into the ringside barrier.  Becky sends Trish into the ringside barrier and the referee calls for the bell.

Winner:  Trish Stratus (by disqualification)

After the match, Becky goes after Trish but Trish gets away from Becky and retreats into the safety of Zoey Stark.

Raquel wants to know what the heck has happened. Becky tries to explain herself but Raquel is not happy at all…

Backstage:

Cathy Kelley is in the back and she is with Bron Breakker. She asks Bron about his match tomorrow and Seth’s condition.  

Bron says Seth won’t use what happened tonight as an excuse.  Seth talks a big game about being the workhorse.  Bron says he has been waiting for this opportunity.  If you think what Finn did was bad, you haven’t seen what he will do to Seth.  Maybe the doctors will prescribe him with enough courage to show up at NXT and you might see his face on Raw more often because he is going to become the next Champion.

– Shinsuke Nakamura vs. Bronson Reed is next, after anothe acommercial.

Backstage:

We are back and Byron approaches Becky to ask why she did what she did. Becky says she screwed herself, or did she?  Now she gets a match against Trish with ladders.  She has enemies everywhere in this match.  Either she overcomes this giant mountain and she climbs the ladder and wins.  Or she goes down in a blaze of glory and she takes Trish and Zoey down with her.

Shinsuke Nakamura vs. Bronson Reed

Nakamura with a running kick to the head and he kicks Reed in the corner.  Nakamura with a cravate and knee followed by a snap mare and knee drop for a near fall.  Reed with a body block and an elbow drop.  Reed with a head butt and a waist lock.  Reed with a forearm to the back and Nakamura with strikes.  Reed with a chop and Nakamura goes down.  Reed with a head butt to the back of the head.  Nakamura with a Pele Kick.  Nakamura puts Reed in the ropes and hits a sliding German suplex.  

Ricochet makes his way to the ring to see what Nakamura is going to do.

We go to commercial.

We are back and Reed with a chop.  Reed misses a splash into the corner and Nakamura with a kick and a jumping side kick off the turnbuckles for a near fall.  Nakamura with a front face lock but Reed with a power slam for a near fall.  Reed goes for a slam but Nakamura counters into a triangle.  Reed with a sit out one arm power bomb for a near fall.  Reed with a forearm to knock Nakamura off the apron.  Reed with a running shoulder tackle off the apron.  Reed has some words for Ricochet and he sends Nakamura to Ricochet but Ricochet moves and Nakamura lands in the chair.  RIcochet kicks the chair and Nakamura kicks Reed.  Reed sends Nakamura into the ring and he sends Ricochet into the ring steps.

Nakamura kicks Reed and then Nakamura knocks Ricochet off the apron acccidentally.  Reed with a German suplex and Reed goe sup top for a Tsunami for the three count.

Winner:  Bronson Reed

– The Judgment Day are in the back as they prepare for their match tonight.

We go to commercial.

Backstage:

We are back with Seth Rollins. He says they are asking if he can or cannot.  He says he was taken from the building to get x-rays on his ribs.  He does not care what the doctors says.  He tells Bron he will be at NXT tomorrow to defend the World Title.  He tells Finn there’s the guy who beat him seven years ago.  Welcome back.  Money in the Bank can’t come soon enough.

– Kevin Owens, Sami Zayn, and Cody Rhodes make their way to the ring. They’ll face The Judgment Day after a commercial.

Priest and Cody start but Cody wants Dom to start and he tags in, but Finn tags himself in.  They lock up and Finn with a side head lock and forearm for a near fall.  Finn with a wrist lock.  Cody with a reversal into a hammer lock and side head lock.  Cody catches Finn on a leap frog and hits a gutbuster on the shoulders.  Finn backs Cody into the corner and connects with shoulders.  Dom tags in and he chops Cody in the back and then runs to the floor before Cody does anything.  Dom tags Priest in and Sami tags in as well.  They lock up and Priest with punches and kicks in the corner.  Sami gets a near fall.  Sami with a front facce lock and Dom tags in and he punches Sami.  Sami punches back.  Dom with a kick and punch to Sami.  Dom shimmies to prepare for a suplex but Sami counters with a suplex of his own.  Sami with a punch and boot to Dom but the referee gets distracted and Rhea clotheslines Sami from the apron.

We go to commercial.

We are back and Priest with an elbow in the corner and Finn tags in and hits a slingshot boot followed by a tag from Dom and a slingshot senton.  Priest tags in and gets a near fall.  Priest tries to anger Kevin and he punches him on the apron.  Priest misses a splash into the corner and hits the ring post.  Dom tags in and he knocks Cody off the apron.  Balor tags in and he sends Sami into the turnbuckles.  Finn with a chop and Irish whip followed by a chop.  Finn with an Irish whip and Sami with a clothesline.  Sami kicks Finn away and he tags in Kevin and Dom tags in.

Kevin chops and punches Dom and follows with many kicks.  Kevin punches Priest off the apron.  Kevin with a Northern Lariat to Dom in the aisle.  They return to the ring and Owens with a super kick.  Kevin with a cannonball and he gets a near fall.  Finn tags in and Balor with an elevated elbow for a near fall.  Balor with punches and kicks to Kevin.  Balor with sling blade on Kevin and he sets for the running drop kick and Owens with a super kick.  Cody tags and so does Priest.  Cody with running forearms and a drop down uppercut.  Cody floats over in the corner and hits a power slam.  Cody with Beautiful Disaster for a near fall.  Cody goes to the ropes but Rhea gets on the apron.  

Priest grabs Cody and hits South of Heaven for a near fall.  Dom punches Sami after Sami breaks up the cover.  Sami sends Dom to the apron and Sami punches Dom into Rhea’s arms.  Rhea gets on the apron and Sami with a flip dive over Rhea onto Dom.  Cody with a Cody Cutter to Priest for a near fall.  Finn pulls Kevin off the apron and they exchange punches.  Kevin sends Finn into the ringside barrier.  Priest with a rollup on Cody for a near fall.  Priest with a punch but Cody hits Priest with the cast on a springboard move by Priest.  Dom breaks up the cover.  Dom sends Kevin to the floor.  Dom signals for a 619 but Sami with a clothesline and a Helluva Kick to Dom.  Kevin with a kick and stunner to Dom.  Cody with CrossRhodes to Priest for the three count.

Winners:  Cody Rhodes, Kevin Owens, and Sami Zayn

Cody poses with Owens and Zayn in the ring to celebrate afterwards. That’s how this week’s show goes off the air. Thanks for joining us!
