Wardlow wants Christian Cage at Double Or Nothing.
The challenge was first made by Wardlow on the May 17 episode of AEW Dynamite. Moments before making the challenge, Wardlow was brutally attacked by both Christian Cage and Luchasaurus. During the attack, Cage hit Wardlow with a ladder before Luchasaurus choke slammed him through it. To finish off the attack, Cage hit Wardlow with an Unprettier onto the broken ladder.
The ladder match, which will be for the TNT Championship, will be the first bout between Cage and Wardlow. The two have been going back and forth for weeks.
Wardlow last wrestled on AEW television back on the May 3 episode of Dynamite. He is currently in the midst of his third reign as TNT Champion.
Cage last wrestled at the Revolution pay-per-view in March, where he competed in a Final Burial match against ‘Jungle Boy’ Jack Perry.
