Unsanctioned Match And More Added To AEW Double Or Nothing – During the May 19 episode of AEW Rampage, TBS Champion Jade Cargill held an open challenge and was confronted by a familiar foe.
Cargill first defeated Dani B, taking her record to 58-0. Then, Mark Sterling issued an open challenge, Jennacide came out, and Cargill beat her too. Sterling called out another competitor, but Taya Valkyrie then came out and attacked Cargill. She then challenged the champion to a title match at AEW Double or Nothing, dropping Jade with her own finisher, which also happens to be Valkyrie’s finisher, Jaded.
Two matches with major stipulations have been also confirmed for AEW Double or Nothing 2023.
After weeks of going back and forth verbally and physically, Adam Cole and Chris Jericho will meet one-on-one in Las Vegas, Nevada.
This will not be any normal match, as Chris Jericho announced on the May 19 episode of AEW Rampage that it would be an Unsanctioned Match where anything goes, and it will not be reflected on either man’s record.
Also, it was confirmed that The Hardy Party (Matt Hardy, Jeff Hardy, and Isiah Kassidy) would go against Ethan Page, Austin Gunn, and Colten Gunn. Per the previously agreed upon stipulation, if Matt Hardy’s team wins, Hardy will own Ethan Page’s contract.
