Sonya Devilles Kidnapper Receives Prison Sentence

Sonya Deville’s Kidnapper Receives Prison Sentence – After three years, the man who attempted to kidnap WWE star Sonya Deville has received his prison sentence.

In August 2020, Phillip A. Thomas II traveled from South Carolina to Deville’s home after spending several months planning to kidnap her. He gained entry into the house through a patio screen, and Deville managed to leave the house without being harmed. Her good friend Mandy Rose was also in the house with her at the time of the break-in.

Thomas was carrying a knife, plastic zip ties, duct tape, mace, and other personal items. He admitted that he planned on taking Deville hostage. Thomas was arrested and charged with Aggravated Stalking, Armed Burglary of a Dwelling, Attempted Armed Kidnapping, and Criminal Mischief.

Fox 13 reported on Tuesday that Thomas was sentenced to 15 years for the attempted kidnapping after coming to a plea agreement. Thomas pleaded guilty to the charges. In addition to 15 years in prison, he was also sentenced to 15 years of probation.

After SummerSlam in 2020, Deville took time off from WWE as she lost a loser leaves WWE match against Rose before returning the following January as an authority figure. In recent weeks, she has been paired with Chelsea Green.
