Rampage Will Turn Into What Dark And Dark Elevation Were

Rampage Will Turn Into What Dark And Dark Elevation Were – There were changes revealed to some of AEW’s programming this week, and more change is in the air now that they’re launching a second weekly two-hour television show on Saturday night titled AEW Collision.

The new weekly television show is slated to air on TNT starting June 17th, 2023, and will be built around the returning CM Punk. The premiere episode is reportedly expected to feature another ‘major talent debut or return.’

Meltzer wrote, “The show, believed to be called AEW Collision, as noted last week, is expected to debut on 6/17 with a show from 8-10 p.m. Eastern, from the United Center in Chicago, which would also be the return of C.M. Punk along with what is expected to be either another major name debut or return.”

AEW had also aired Dark and Dark: Elevation every Monday and Tuesday on YouTube. However, Andrew Zarian of the Mat Men Podcast reported that Dark and Dark Elevation is ending. Part of this has to do with AEW signing a new deal for AEW Collision to air on Saturdays.

On the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Dave Meltzer reported that Rampage is expected to “turn into what Dark and Dark Elevation were, more to showcase younger talent.”

The Dark shows regularly featured squash matches with its contracted talent going over independent talent and giving newer talent a look.

AEW will air Dynamite live on Wednesday nights before taping Rampage and then to air Collision before taping ROH TV on Saturday nights.
