Hikaru Shida Returns On AEW Dynamite, Swerves The Outcasts – Hikaru Shida is back in All Elite Wrestling, as she made her return during tonight’s AEW Dynamite.
After Saraya beat Willow Nightingale thanks to plenty of interference from Toni Storm and Willow Nightingale, the group began attacking Nightingale after the bell. Shida then came out, seemingly with the intent to make the save, but she began hugging The Outcasts instead.
As she was set to spraypaint Willow, the former AEW Women’s World Champion instead swerved The Outcasts. She aligned with AEW Women’s World Champion Jamie Hayter and Britt Baker — who snuck up behind the group — and attacked the trio with a kendo stick. Shida then spraypainted them and stood tall with Hayter and Baker.
For Shida, this is her first appearance on AEW television since January. She hasn’t wrestled on AEW programming since the January 2 episode of AEW Dark: Elevation.
