Dakota Kai Out Of Action With Injury – There has been an update on Dakota Kai’s injury status following last week’s WWE SmackDown.
On SmackDown, it was confirmed by WWE that Liv Morgan had suffered an injury, leading to her and Raquel Rodriguez vacating the Women’s Tag Team Championship. An update on Liv Morgan is available at this link.
On the show, Bayley said that Dakota Kai had also been injured in the same match as Liv, which some in WWE said ‘looked worse’ than Morgan’s injury when it happened.
In an update from Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer, it has been confirmed that Dakota suffered a torn ACL in the match.
The word is that she was injured after Liv had suffered her injury, with Dakota’s injury coming in a spot where she knew that Morgan was hurt and she was trying to protect her.
Kai is scheduled for surgery tomorrow.
