Wardlow Wins TNT Championship – Arn Anderson returned to AEW Dynamite as the manager for Wardlow. During a backstage segment, Anderson said that he and Wardlow will be playing chess.
Wardlow challenged Powerhouse Hobbs for the TNT Championship in the final segment of the first hour.
It was a back-and-forth match but towards the end QT Marshall tried to get involved. He was taken out by a kick from Pentagon and a DDT from Anderson. Wardlow then hit the powerbomb to win the title.
After the match, Christian Cage and Luchasaurus walked out on the stage to stare at Wardlow and essentially letting it known that Luchasaurus is next to challenge for the title.
