John Cena Joins The Cast Of Barbie Movie – Fresh off his loss at WWE WrestleMania 39, John Cena has been announced for another surprising movie role.
The WWE Superstar turned actor’s name popped up in the credited cast in the new trailer for the Barbie movie. The movie stars Margot Robbie, who worked alongside Cena in James Gunn’s The Suicide Squad movie for DC Comics in 2021.
John Cena wasn’t featured in the new trailer, so it’s currently unknown what role he will play in the movie. (It’s entirely possible that we just couldn’t see him.)
The movie takes place in both Barbie Land and the real world, so it’s uncertain where Cena will appear in the film.
Despite his clever tagline, it appears we’ll be seeing Cena in multiple movies throughout the rest of 2023, including Fast X, Snafu, Coyote v. Acme, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutant Mayhem, and Argylle.
Barbie the movie releases in movie theaters nationwide on July 21.
