IYO SKY Earns RAW Women’s Title Shot – IYO SKY has earned a WWE RAW Women’s Championship opportunity, following a big win in a Triple Threat Match tonight at WWE RAW.
In the match, SKY was able to come out on top thanks to some late, miraculous saves. Toward the end of the match, “Michin” Mia Yim hit the Yoshi Tonic on Piper Niven, followed by a big kick, to drop her.
However, as she went to pin Niven, SKY jumped off the top rope, hitting a big elbow drop on the pair to stun Yim and pin her for the win.
Here is a short recap of how the match ended:
Yim tries to slam Niven. Yim can’t get Niven off the mat. Sky floors Niven with a missile dropkick. Niven and Yim end up outside the ring. Sky takes down Niven and Yim with an Asai moonsault. Bayley golf claps for Sky as Sky celebrates.
After the break, Niven flattens yim and Sky with a splash. Niven launches Sky up top. Sky sends Yim flying with a top rope ranna. Springboad dropkick by Sky to Niven. Yim breaks up the pin. Yim hits Eat d’feet on Niven. Sky breaks up Yim’s pin with the Over the Moonsault. Sky pins Yim.
