Injury Update On Robert Roode

Injury Update On Robert Roode – WWE fans shouldn’t expect to see Robert Roode make his return from injury for a while.

As noted, Roode is dealing with some injuries and he previously revealed that he had undergone spinal fusion surgery. It was later noted that Roode had his C5 and C6 vertebrae fused.

WWE expected an update on Roode’s recovery prognosis following WrestleMania week. In an update, no details were provided, but Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful Select reports that Roode is “still expected to be out quite some time.”

After a long and successful career in TNA Wrestling, Roode signed with WWE in 2016. While with the company, Roode held the NXT Title before going to the main roster, where he became a United States Champion, Raw Tag Team Champion, and SmackDown Tag Team Champion.

Roode hasn’t worked a match since working with Omos last June at a WWE house show. Roode was aligned with Dolph Ziggler before he went away.
