FTR Wins AEW World Tag Team Titles – Dax Harwood and Cash Wheeler are the new AEW World Tag Team Champions.
After a back and forth match in the main event of tonight’s AEW Dynamite, Harwood and Wheeler were able to win the AEW World Tag Team Championships after both Harwood and Wheeler double-pinned Austin & Colten Gunn with a sunset flip pin. With the win, Harwood and Wheeler are set to stay in AEW and will not be forced to leave the promotion.
This win marks the second time that FTR have held the AEW World Tag Team Championships. The team’s first reign came back in 2020 and lasted only 63 days.
Austin & Colten Gunn’s reign with the AEW World Tag Team Titles lasted a total of 57 days. Throughout that time, the duo successfully defended the championships on two separate occasions.
