Details On WWE Meetings After UFC Merger News – WWE is set to merge with UFC and form a new company as part of an agreement with Endeavor, and a new report shines some light on the company’s subsequent meetings with talent and employees.
Fightful Select reports that the employee meeting was led by WWE Chief Content Officer Triple H, WWE CEO Nick Khan, and President/CFO Frank Riddick. During the meeting, it was made clear that Endeavor would not be involved with the creative or production of the show, but little information regarding how other departments could or would be affected was made available.
Additionally, a talent meeting was held ahead of the April 3 episode of WWE RAW. Some talent were not in attendance because they weren’t booked, and they had been on lengthy stretch of travel due to the WrestleMania schedule. This meeting was reportedly led by Khan and Triple H, and they discussed the success of WrestleMania.
They also emphasized that nothing would change under Endeavor, and while Vince McMahon was mentioned a few times as one of the people who would be “in control”, no specific details were given.
Speaking of Vince McMahon, Wrestlevotes reports that the WWE Chairman has heavy influence on tonight’s post-WrestleMania RAW.
“I’m hearing that for the first time in months, tonight’s show has a large Vince McMahon feel and presence to it. Big weekend for the boss continues.”
