Cody Rhodes In Talks For Hollywood Roles – Although Cody Rhodes is a big star in WWE, he could be headed to Hollywood, just like other wrestlers have done, such as Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson, Dave Bautista, John Cena, Steve Austin, and others.
Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful Select reported that Rhodes had some meetings over WrestleMania weekend while in LA regarding potential roles in film and television.
There was a discussion about him being linked or interested in the Johnny Cage role in an upcoming Mortal Kombat movie. The Miz has also been angling for the role.
Also, there was a discussion about a connection to a potential upcoming Zelda film.
Before returning to WWE, Rhodes had solid connections to the acting world as he appeared on seven episodes of Arrow with Stephen Amell, an episode of Warehouse 13, and Go Big Show. He was also part of the reality series Rhodes to the Top and WAGS Atlanta.
