Big Name Rumored To Return During The WWE Draft – There’s apparently some good news about a WWE star’s injury status if the latest report from WRKD Wrestling pans out.
WRKD Wrestling reports that Big E is rumored to be part of the WWE Draft. He’s been out of action for over a year after suffering a major neck injury during an episode of Friday Night SmackDown. The injury happened on an overhead throw on the ringside floor from Ridge Holland.
Big E is said to be doing well with his injury rehab and has looked great in recent public appearances but up until now, there hasn’t been any indication that he’s cleared to wrestle again.
WRKD Wrestling reported last week that there’s been a long-term pitch backstage for Imperium to feud with The New Day once Big E was cleared. Furthermore, the centerpiece of that feud would be Big E vs. Gunther.
“Despite a loss to Gunther on #Smackdown, one long-term backstage pitch has seen Xavier Woods and a fully healed Big E and Kofi Kingston feuding with Imperium once the New Day are ready to return. The centerpiece for the feud would be Big E facing Gunther,” they wrote on Twitter.
