Becky Lynch To Miss Tonight’s RAW – A few hours before tonight’s WWE RAW was set to begin, Lynch simply tweeted that she wouldn’t be coming to RAW. As a result, it seems like she won’t appear on the show, where Stratus is scheduled to address her actions.
Lynch also removed the main WWE reference from her Twitter account today, and changed her name from the ring name to her real name. She also blacked the profile out, then made the announcement on her status for tonight’s RAW.
No reasoning was given for Lynch’s absence. We will provide more information as it becomes available.
Last week, Lynch and Trish Stratus lost the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship to Liv Morgan and Raquel Rodriguez. Ahead of the show, Lynch and Lita were the reigning champions, but a backstage attack took Lita out of action, and Stratus filled in for her. Morgan subsequently pinned Stratus to win the gold. After the bell, Lynch tried to console Stratus, but the WWE Hall of Famer turned on “The Man” and attacked her.
Lynch and Lita won the titles by defeating Damage CTRL (Dakota Kai and IYO SKY) on the February 27, 2022 episode of WWE Raw. Stratus, Lita, and Lynch went on to defeat Bayley, Kai and SKY at WWE WrestleMania 39.
