Tony Khan has more “major announcements” to make.
The AEW President posted to social media on Friday hyping up Sunday’s Revolution pay-per-view from San Francisco. He also noted that he has announcements “coming soon” that “will be important to AEW & our fans!”
Khan wrote:
This is one of the best weekends of the year: AEW Revolution, Sunday in San Francisco + Friday Night #AEWRampage & then Countdown to Revolution TONIGHT on TNT! 2023 will be the biggest year yet for AEW, I have major announcements coming soon that are important to AEW & our fans!
Khan’s last big announcement was made on the February 22 edition of Dynamite. Adam Cole was the one to actually reveal the news of the company’s new reality show, AEW All Access, premiering this month. Cole’s return to the ring will take place the same night the show premieres.
Previous “Tony Khan announcements” also include the purchasing of Ring of Honor and the AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door pay-per-view.
AEW presents a live edition of Rampage tonight from San Francisco’s Cow Palace. Dustin Rhodes & Keith Lee vs. Swerve Strickland & Parker Boudreaux plus a four-way tag match with Top Flight, Aussie Open, The Dark Order, and Blackpool Combat Club is scheduled for the show.
