Saraya Wants AEW To Introduce New Women's Championships

Saraya Wants AEW To Introduce New Women’s Championships – Saraya has been vocal about what the AEW women’s division is capable of since arriving to the promotion last year.

Last December, Saraya told Forbes that she thinks there is space for a women’s tag team division and thinks they could do an all-women’s show.

Saraya had her first chance at winning AEW gold this past Sunday night at Revolution when she worked a triple threat match against Ruby Soho and AEW Women’s Champion Jamie Hayter, who went over to retain her title. Post-match, Soho turned heel by aligning with Saraya and Toni Storm to beat down Britt Baker and Hayter.

Currently, the women’s division in AEW has two titles – Women’s World Title and the TBS Title.

In a response to a tweet sent out by AEW that had a graphic honoring their women’s division for International Women’s Day, Saraya called for AEW to introduce a Women’s Tag Team Championship.

She wrote: “Perfect way to celebrate would be to bring in Women’s tag titles”

On tonight’s Dynamite, Soho will wrestle Skye Blue in a singles match. It’s expected Saraya and Storm will be in the corner of Soho for the bout.
