Roman Reigns Taking A Break After WrestleMania 39? – Roman Reigns is slated to defend his Undisputed WWE Universal Title against Cody Rhodes at WrestleMania Goes Hollywood, with the expectation that it will headline the second night of the event.

Many people expect Reigns’ historic reign as the company’s top champion to end at the hands of Cody Rhodes. In the main event segment of Monday Night Raw this week, Reigns and Rhodes had a promo showdown.

The WrestleVotes Twitter account told GiveMeSport that Reigns is set for a significant break after WrestleMania.

“I can imagine there’s probably a significant break, at least a month even longer, until there’s a major show that requires Roman Reigns. You may not see him until SummerSlam though. He’ll be away for a little bit.”

The report stated that Reigns would remain the company’s top star and would be on every major WWE show (the big four) going forward even though he won’t be the Undisputed WWE Universal Champion.

The account added that WWE has yet to make a decision on when/if Reigns will drop the title and Reigns’ hiatus from WWE will be contingent on when Reigns goes away so if he retains at Mania, it won’t be a situation where he disappears from television right after.
