Mickie James And Impact Knockouts Title Situation Revealed

Mickie James And Impact Knockouts Title Situation Revealed – As noted, Impact Wrestling stated that Mickie James was pulled out of tonight’s title defense on Sacrifice PPV against former champion Jordynne Grace due to suffering an injury which was revealed to be a broken rib.

The situation was addressed during Friday’s event streaming special and now James must defend the Impact Knockouts title by Apri’s Rebellion or else vacate the title.

It was announced that if James is able to compete at next month’s Rebellion pay-per-view, she will defend against Grace and the winner of the multi-woman match at Multiverse United (which now includes GCW Champion Masha Slamovich) in a three-way at Rebellion.

However, if she cannot compete at Rebellion on April 16th, the title will be vacated and decided between Grace and the winner of the new four-way.

James was also pulled from next Thursday’s Impact x NJPW Multiverse United pay-per-view where she was set to defend against Miyu Yamashita, Deonna Purrazzo and Gisele Shaw.

It’s the latest development in a tumultuous 24 hours that saw Impact World Champion Josh Alexander relinquish the title due to a torn triceps. Steve Maclin and KUSHIDA will now battle over the vacant title.
