Gunther To Defend Intercontinental Title At WM 39 In A Triple Threat

On WWE SmackDown, there was a brutal battle between Sheamus and Drew McIntyre over who would go to WrestleMania 39 to face GUNTHER.

While mid-match there was a major move which saw both men down for nearly the ten count, instead GUNTHER jumped from ringside.

Confronting both of them,  Imperium would then go on to attack both Sheamus and Drew McIntyre, leading to a decisive non-finish.

However as they were leaving the ring, Adam Pearce appeared on the Titan Tron to make it official: GUNTHER would be facing both Sheamus and Drew McIntyre for the Intercontinental Championship at WrestleMania 39.
