FTR Return To AEW Dynamite With A Challenge – During tonight’s AEW Dynamite, FTR’s Dax Harwood and Cash Wheeler appeared in the ring following their surprise return at Revolution on Sunday.
The Sacramento crowd gave them a warm welcome before diving into business. Wheeler recalled losing to The Acclaimed and The Gunns on top of losing all three of their titles all before Jay Briscoe passed away in January.
After recharging, they decided they could not sit at home and watch The Gunns call themselves the best tag team in the world. Wheeler ran down everything they were handed because of who their father was while also noting they are the future of the business. Meanwhile, Harwood opted to praise the fans for never giving up on them. Now, they feel it’s time to seek retribution and take the AEW World Tag Team Championship from Austin and Colten.
FTR hasn’t appeared on Dynamite since December 21 when they suffered a loss to The Gunns. Tony Khan granted them time off to recover while they weighed their options for the future as their AEW contracts are reportedly up in April.
