Sonya Deville Suffers Facial Injury At WWE Live Event In Pensacola – During Sunday’s WWE live event in Pensacola, Sonya Deville squared off against Liv Morgan and Charlotte Flair in a triple threat match for SmackDown Women’s Championship.
The match was stopped after Sonya Deville suffered a nasty cut caused by a knee to the face. The SmackDown star was escorted to the back by WWE attendants. Thankfully, the injury wasn’t serious and was treated with stitches.
Sonya Deville took to Instagram after the live event to show her nasty scar. The WWE superstar revealed that she needed seven stitches on the wound. You can check out her Instagram Story here.
For those wondering, Sonya Deville has been involved in a title program with Charlotte Flair on televised and non-televised for some time now. She unsuccessfully challenged Charlotte for the title this past Friday on the blue.
