Roman Reigns Reaches 900 Days As Universal Champion

Roman Reigns has been on an unbelievable run over the last few years after reinventing himself as “The Tribal Chief”

Reigns won a Triple Threat Match at WWE Payback 2020 over Braun Strowman and Bray Wyatt to win the WWE Universal Championship.

Reigns beat Lesnar to unify the WWE Universal Championship with the WWE Championship to become the WWE Undisputed Universal Champion last year at WrestleMania 38.

Reigns has now been the Universal Champion for 900 days. He hasn’t been pinned since December 2019 when he lost to Baron Corbin at the TLC event. This is the longest WWE World Title reign in 30 years, behind Hulk Hogan’s WWE Title reign that lasted 1,474 days.

Reigns will defend his Undisputed WWE Universal Title against Sami Zayn at the Elimination Chamber this Saturday in Montreal.

Reigns will defend his title against Cody Rhodes at WrestleMania 39 in April. The belief is that it will serve as the main event of the second night of the show.
