After the match, Ilja Dragunov rushed to the ring and attacked McDonagh, but McDonagh ran away before Dragunov could hit his finisher.
Ilja Dragunov’s last match in NXT was against McDonagh, and Ilja was written off television with an injury. Now, he is back for revenge.
Shawn Michaels had previously commented on the status of Dragunov during the media call ahead of NXT Vengeance Day, saying that it was a matter of waiting on particular talents to make a full-time commitment to WWE NXT in addition to Visa issues.
