Eight months after losing the Impact Digital Media title, Matt Cardona will get his rematch on next Thursday’s Impact on AXS TV.
Cardona will take on reigning champion Joe Hendry after Hendry embarrassed Cardona and Brian Myers last Thursday with a song that referred to them as “Edge’s b*tches.” Cardona and Myers attempted to retort Thursday with a rap, but to less than optimal results.
Steph De Lander, the former Persia Pirotta in WWE NXT, will make her Impact debut against a tough challenge in former Knockouts Champion Jordynne Grace. Grace offered up the challenge Thursday after hearing De Lander, who was released by WWE in early-2022, was coming to Impact:
The first of two qualifying matches for a four-way no. 1 contender’s match at this month’s No Surrender will take place as Brian Myers takes on Dirty Dango and PCO goes one-on-one with Shera.
Knockouts Champion Mickie James will team with Tommy Dreamer against The Good Hands (John Skyler & Jason Hotch). This was made following a confrontation Dreamer and James had with Bully Ray, Skyler and Hotch Thursday.
In non-title action, Knockouts Tag Team Champions The Death Dollz will face Killer Kelly & Taylor Wilde.
