Backstage News On Chealsea Green’s Absence From RAW – Following her return in the 30-Woman Royal Rumble match last month, Chelsea Green has been regularly featured on WWE television.
However, on this Monday’s episode of RAW, Green wasn’t featured on the show as WWE did an angle where she was sent to Ottawa, Illinois instead of Ottawa, Canada.
Fightful Select reports the segment was done to help bridge the gap until WWE was done touring in Canada and back in the United States as Green is currently landlocked and unable to return to Canada.
Green is currently waiting for her green card as she is from Canada. She was approved for her green card to move to the US for work, but due to immigration policy, if she went into Canada while landlocked, she wouldn’t be able to return to the US until she waited for the new card.
Per the report, Green has been landlocked dating back to last Summer. Instead of being at Raw, Green was with her husband, Matt Cardona, in NYC for the screening of The Last Match: A Pro Wrestling Rock Musical, which stars Cardona.
