2/3 WWE SmackDown And AEW Rampage Viewership Numbers – 2/3 WWE SmackDown episode averaged 2.384 million viewers on FOX, which is down from 2.544 million viewers one week ago, according to Brandon Thurston of WrestleNomics.
In the 18 to 49 demographic, SmackDown scored a 0.61 rating, which is also down from last week (0.67 rating). SmackDown still ranked #1 in the demographic, both among broadcast primetime and cable originals. Thurston noted that Friday’s show marked the fourth time in five weeks that SmackDown has taken the top spot, per Showbuzz Daily.
The episode kicked off with Ricochet and Braun Strowman defeating Imperium to become the number one contenders for the SmackDown Tag Team Titles. The close of the show saw Roman Reigns address The Bloodline in the ring before being attacked by Sami Zayn, which set up a match between the two men in Montreal at WWE Elimination Chamber.
As for AEW Rampage, the show drew 406,000 viewers and a 0.11 rating in the 18-49 demographic on TNT in the 10 pm ET time slot. Last week the show did 458,000 viewers and a 0.14 rating.
This is the second straight week that ratings have been down, and was Rampage’s lowest total viewership since December 2.
Rampage ranked #28 in the top 150 shows on cable for the night, down from last week with a #22 ranking.
