Here’s what’s on tap for the live Battle Of The Belts V special on January 6, 2023.
First, The Acclaimed will face Jeff Jarrett and Jay Lethal in a No Holds Barred AEW World Tag Team Championship match. This rematch comes after Jarrett and Lethal nearly stole the titles from The Acclaimed in their first match on Wednesday’s show, but referee Stephon Smith reversed the decision at the last moment.
Furthermore, Jade Cargill will defend her TBS Championship against Skye Blue in a singles bout. Cargill and Red Velvet teamed together against Kiera Hogan and Skye Blue on the January 4 episode of Dynamite.
As previously announced, Orange Cassidy will face Kip Sabian in a AEW All-Atlantic Championship bout.
