A triple threat tag team match has been added to NXT Vengeance Day on February 4.
The New Day will defend the titles against Gallus and Pretty Deadly in a three-way match. The match was set up on Tuesday’s NXT when all three teams engaged in a brawl that led to the three teams being separated by officials.
Tonight’s show had The New Day come out to say they were going to face Gallus at Vengeance Day, as they had won the gauntlet match at last week’s New Year’s Evil event. Pretty Deadly came out and said they were tired of going around hoops to get to The New Day. After Gallus came out, Pretty Deadly attacked both teams, leading to the brawl.
As noted, the planned “funeral” segment was pulled from the show following passing of jay briscoe.
