Saraya Seemingly Turn Heel On Dynamite – During tonight’s AEW Dynamite episode, Saraya and Toni Storm attacked Willow Nightingale after Saraya helped Storm cheat to win the match. Ruby Soho won the match.
The heel turn was hinted at before the match during a backstage segment where Saraya and Storm talked about knowing more than the AEW originals because they’ve been to other places… basically, an ex-WWE wrestlers vs. AEW originals feud. Hikaru Shida was also around ringside but she seemed to remain neutral but it’s being teased that she will be part of the originals group.
On last week’s show, the highly anticipated tag team match between Britt Baker and Jamie Hayter against Saraya and her mystery partner took place.
The prior week, Saraya had chosen Toni Storm as her partner in an interview with Renee Paquette, rejecting Hikaru Shida.
During the match, Shida came to the ring and slid a Kendo Stick into the ring, which ultimately cost Saraya and Storm the match.
