Chris Jericho Makes PWG Debut At Battle Of Los Angeles

AEW’s Chris Jericho made his PWG debut at Sunday night’s Battle of Los Angeles event.

Appearing alongside the entire Jericho Appreciation Society faction, Jericho teamed with JAS’s Daniel Garcia, Sammy Guevara, Matt Menard, and Angelo Parker (seconded by Anna Jay, Tay Melo, and Jake Hager) against Jonathan Gresham, Evil Uno, SB Kento, Michael Oku, and Kevin Blackwood in a 10-man tag bout.

Jericho pinned Blackwood after hitting the Judas Effect.

Dave Meltzer’s live notes on the match:

Super entertaining. They treated this like a major match, all action. They all did the slow motion spot for minutes until Jericho started chopping Oku hard. Jericho and Oku were the highlight, but Jericho gave Blackwood a lot of near falls on him before the bay shot by Garcia set up the Judas Effect.

Jericho called it modern ECW.

Fans wanted Daddy Magic talk.

Fans threw money.

The tag team bout was set up after an angle involving Garcia. Garcia was announced as teaming with Gresham and Blackwood against Shun Skywalker, Uno, and Oku, but Garcia stated that he only teams with sports entertainers. The JAS then entered for the match.
