12/30 WWE SmackDown Scores Big Viewership Numbers – 12/30 WWE SmackDown episode saw the ratings increase. The show averaged 2.629 million viewers on FOX, which is up from 2.376 million viewers, according to Brandon Thurston of WrestleNomics.
In the all-important 18-49 demographic, the show did a 0.64 rating, up from the 0.55 rating a week ago.
This episode featured the in-ring return of John Cena in the main event when he teamed with Kevin Owens against Roman Reigns and Sami Zayn.
This was the highest total viewership since Christmas Day 2020, a show with an inflated number because it had an NFL game lead-in, and the highest key demo since September 2021. Last week was the highest total viewership SmackDown has done since September 9, with 2.367 million viewers.
