WWE SmackDown Results (12/3) – We are live from the KeyBank Center in Buffalo, NY, as Sami Zayn makes his way to the ring accompanied byt The Usos and Solo Sikoa. Of course, we see what happened at Survivor Series last Saturday.
Jey says the Bloodline is now in your city. Sami reminds everyone that the Bloodline leveled up at War Games because we had the longest reigning tag team…
Jimmy says tonight is about Sami, my dog. Jimmy says of course they leveled up, but you were the MVP. They were chanting ‘Sami Uso’. That means the crowd chants it.
Jey says he doubted Sami for a long time and didn’t like him. When you made the decision to stand with the family, you earned my respect. It is because of you that we won that match.
Sami says he does not know what to say. Jimmy asks Sami how is he feeling. Sami looks around and says he is feeling pretty freakin Uce-y.
Sami asks Jey to join him and Jimmy in their handshake while Solo stands in the ring.
The Brawling Brutes come our and Sheamus says he hates to beat the bollocks out of a fellow ginger. You will have a massive smile on your face. That is enough talking, it’s fight night!
Sami Zayn vs. Sheamus
They lock up and Sheamus misses a punch in the corner. Sami with a side head lock and Sheamus with a shoulder tackle. Sheamus with a hard Irish whip. Sami with a punch and he blocks a hip toss. Sheamus blocks a hip toss and Sheamus with a short arm clothesline. Sheamus with a double fish hook and forearm. Sheamus with a European uppercut. Sheamus goes to the floor and he sends Sami into the ringside barrier.

Sheamus stomps on the hand. Sami with a DDT to Sheamus when Sheamus is distracted by the Usos. Sami gets a near fall. Sami with kicks to Sheamus and he connects with crossfaces. Sami chokes Sheamus in the ropes. Sheamus with punches but Sami with a drop kick. Sheamus backs Sami into the corner. Sami with a boot. Sami with a tornado DDT for a near fall. Sheamus rolls to the apron. Sami grabs Sheamus and he sets for the forearms across the chest but Sheamus will not let Sami do his thing. Sheamus with back elbows to Sami and he returns to the ring. Sheamus with running double sledges and a clothesline into the corner.
Sheamus with a tilt-a-whirl power slam. Sami goes to the apron and Sheamus sets for the crossfaces, but Sami drops Sheamus on the top rope. Sami comes off the turnbuckles and Sheamus catches him for a uranage back breaker and he sets for the Cloverleaf. Sami gets to the ropes and Sheamus releases the hold. Sami with a back elbow and Sheamus goes over the top rope when Sami drops down. Sami with a flip dive onto Sheamus.

We are back and Sami goes up top but Sheamus stops him. Sheamus goes up top as well and Sami with a head butt and punch to send Sheamus to the mat. Sami comes off the turnbuckles and Sheamus with a jumping knee for a near fall. Sheamus gets Sami up and Sheamus goes to the turnbuckles. Sami counters the Air Raid Crash into a sunset flip power bomb for a near fall. Sheamus stops a Helluva Kick and Sheamus with an Air Raid Crash for a near fall. Sheamus sets for the Brogue Kick but Sami goes to the apron after Jimmy distracts Sheamus. Sheamus with the forearms on the apron. Sheamus sets for the Brogue Kick again and Jimmy gets on the apron. Sheamus punches Jimmy and Sami gets on Sheamus’ back.
Jey with a kick and Sami with a Blue Thunder Bomb for a near fall. Butch and Ridge pull Jimmy and Jey off the apron and they fight. Solo activates and he hits a splash on Ridge and then hits a uranage on Butch against the ringside barrier. Sheamus with a knee to stop a Helluva Kick. Jimmy distracts the referee and Jey with a super kick to allow Sami to hit a sunset flip for the three count.
Winner: Sami Zayn
– We take a look at Santos Escobar. He says Legado has flourished since their arrival on Smackdown. He will make sure that the Smackdown World Cup is in the hands of the perfect enterprise. A win sheds the light on Mexico and Lucha Libra. Zelina says we will see that the emperor is the best to offer. It will give Legado a first class flight to the Intercontinental Championship. They will have an undeniable position of power when he wins the title. Santos says Ricochet has made it so far but your fairy tale is over. Cruz and Joaquin say Legado will reign supreme.

Backstage:
We are back and Megan is in the back with Kofi Kingston. Megan asks Kofi about the news he has. Kofi says he is the first superstar to say that he will be in the Royal Rumble. She asks Kofi about the World Cup match tonight. Kofi says he cannot bet against Ricochet.
Vinci and Kaiser interrupt and he asks why would you ask someone who doesn’t respect the ring. Kofi says you want to have a match, but Xavier is not here. I will face one of you and who will it be. Gunther shows up and he says that is perfect and you will fight me.
Backstage:
Bray Wyatt says he thinks we are spoiled. We have a lavish lifestyle where we are showered with technology. At one point we were just wild animals. No one looks at it like an act of violence. Just animals trying to survive. Some must die in order for others to live. You don’t want to talk about these things even if these instincts are ingrained in us. We want to fit in our spots. I am not the one who hurt LA Knight. Bray says he heard you and how you rejoiced. How primal of you. If I had been the one, you would all know because there would be none of him left.

Backstage:
Emma is in Gorilla and Riddick Moss asks Emma if she is alright. Emma says five years is a long time to be gone and things have changed. The competition has gotten tougher. Moss tells Emma to remember who she is. None of this would have happened without her. The game has changed and the competition is tough, but you are Emma. You belong here. Emma thanks Riddick for the pep talk and she kisses him on the cheek.
Shayna Baszler vs. Emma
They lock up and Shayna with a waist lock take down and she slaps Emma in the head. Emma with a side head lock and a snap mare into a rollup for a near fall. Emma with a side Russian leg sweep for a near fall. Shayna goes to the apron and drops Emma’s arm in the ropes. Shayna with an arm wringer and she hyper-extends the arm. Shayna with a double wrist lock. Emma with a rollup for a near fall. Shayna with a clothesline and she puts the hand on the mat but Emma escapes and kicks Shayna. Emma with punches but Shayna with a forearm.
Emma with a clothesline. Emma with a back elbow and forearms. Shayna is sent to the apron and Emma with a hanging neck breaker in the ropes for a near fall. Emma sets for a Tiger Driver but Emma’s injured arm prevents her. Shayna misses a knee in the corner and Emma with a tarantula. Emma goes up top and Shayna kicks the rope to crotch Emma. Shayna with a kick and an arm wringer into the Kirifuta Clutch.
Emma taps out.

After the match, Shayna kicks Emma’s arm on the ropes. Before Shayna can stomp on the elbow, Shotzi’s music plays and she makes her way to the ring. Shotzi with forearms to Shayna but Shayna with a kick and knee to the head. Shayna prepares to stomp on the elbow but Raquel Rodriguez’s music plays and she gets on the apron. Shayna decides to fight another day.
– We take a look at Lacey Evans training as a Marine. We see her running and they say that she got lost in the crowd with the whiners and the weak despite being trained as a Marine. Something has to change. A Mustang gets a tune up. A boxer goes to training camp. A Marine goes back to basics.
Backstage:
Ricochet says it comes down to the US versus Mexico. Santos Escobar versus Ricochet. Everyone has asked him what would it mean to win the Smackdown World Cup. It would mean everything. If this is the route that I have to take to finally get my rematch against Gunther, you are looking at the winner of the Smackdown World Cup. He tells Santos he hopes he is ready.
Ricochet vs. Gunther
Kofi with kicks and a drop kick. Kofi with more kicks and a side head lock but Gunther with a back breaker and a boot to the ribs. Gunther with a European uppercut. Kofi with punches and a forearm. Kofi with a kick and Gunther with a front face lock and forearm across the chest. Gunther with a snap mare and he works on the neck. Gunther with a forearm to the lower back. Kofi with a forearm and kick followed by punches. Gunther with a chop in the corner.
Kofi sends Gunther over the top rope but Kaiser trips Kofi. Gunther with a clothesline.
Braun Strowman’s music plays as Gunther sets for a power bomb on Kofi and Gunther releases the hold while Braun takes his time.
Vinci comes off the ring steps while Strowman chases Kaiser. Strowman catches Vinci and sends him into the ring post and over the ringside barrier into the time keeper’s area. He sends Kaiser to visit Vinci.
Back in the ring, Gunther tries for a power bomb but Kofi escapes and gets a near fall with SOS.

We are back and Gunther with a sleeper. Kofi with elbows and punches. Gunther leans back to the mat and Kofi rolls over to get a near fall. Kofi with punches. Kofi with a drop kick to the knee and Gunther spins around without going to the mat. Kofi with chops to Gunther and a drop kick. Kofi with a jumping clothesline and a Boom Drop. Kofi sets for Trouble in Paradise. Gunther moves and Gunther with a German suplex but Kofi lands on his feet. Kofi with a pendulum kick and Shadows over Hell for a near fall.
Kofi with more kicks to the leg and Gunther with an Irish whip and Kofi comes off the turnbuckles into a chop. Gunther with a dead lift German suplex for a near fall. Gunther with a Boston Crab. Gunther turns it into a crossface. Kofi escapes and kicks Gunther in the leg. Gunther with a chop and Kofi goes for SOS again but Gunther blocks it and Kofi escapes a power bomb. Kofi with a kick but Gunther with a running drop kick. Gunther with a power bomb for a near fall. Kofi with a chop and Gunther chops back. Gunther with Emerald Flowsion for the three count.

Backstage:
Sami locks the door for their locker room and Sami suggests that Solo join him since Sami has made a lot of enemies. Jimmy says he can’t believe that Jey is okay with Sami. Jimmy asks if Jey has talked to Sami about lying to him. Jey says that Roman was okay with it.
Sheamus attacks Jimmy and Jey out of nowhere with a shillelagh and he tells them that him and Drew will be waiting for a title match. Banger, after banger, after banger…

In the Arena:
We are back and Bayley, Iyo Sky, and Dakota Kai make their way to the ring.
Bayley says they don’t’ want to be here but Michael Cole must have missed her or Smackdown needed ratings and they could count on them. Bayley says they were in War Games less than a week ago. The three of them combined were in the match for more than 95 minutes. Bayley asks if anyone knows the magnitude of that? Do you know what that does to your body? You idiots cheered for Becky when she won and she was in the match for a cup of coffee. Bayley says no one on the Smackdown roster had the guts to stand up and as the longest reigning champion in Smackdown history, it angers her. If you are looking for a role model you have us.
Liv Morgan comes out and says it looks like you have a problem with the women’s division on Smackdown.
Liv counts to three and says that seems fair. Liv sends Dakota into the ring steps and Iyo into the ringside barrier. Liv with a take down to Bayley and she punches Bayley. Iyo and Dakota attack Liv.
Tegan Nox makes her way to the ring and she clotheslines Dakota and punches Iyo. Tegan attacks Bayley and then Dakota and Iyo hit Tegan from behind. Iyo and Dakota send Tegan to the mat. Liv gets a kendo stick and she hits Bayley, Iyo, and Dakota. Tegan with a Shiniest Wizard on Bayley as Damage CTRL retreats.

We are back with Karrion Kross talking about how this Universe is chaos and randomness. He says he embraces it. Others struggle in this reality. It puts people in all of the places they don’t want to be. I showed this to Drew McIntyre. I had to teach this to Riddick Moss. Now it is time to take someone else in the eye of the storm.
We see a tarot card of Rey Mysterio. Karrion says Tick Tock.

Santos Escobar vs. Ricochet in the Finals of the Smackdown World Cup
They lock up and Santos with a waist lock and Ricochet with a wrist lock and take down. Santos with a reversal. Ricochet with a back flip and he escapes. Santos signals for Cruz to distract Ricochet and Ricochet with an elbow. Santos hits Ricochet from behind after Cruz distracts Ricochet. Ricochet is sent to the floor and he punches Santos from the apron and hits a springboard drop kick and a suicide dive. Wilde gets on the apron and the referee stops him. Santos goes to the floor on the other side of the ring. Ricochet with a drop kick and Santos sends Ricochet to the apron. Cruz pushes Ricochet when Ricochet goes for a springboard move but the referee does not see him because Wilde distracted the referee.
The referee gives Cruz and Joaquin a red card and sends them to the back. Vega is also given a red card.
We go to commercial.
We are back and Ricochet with elbows and a forearm. Ricochet with a chop. Santos with an Irish whip and Ricochet floats over and Ricochet with a handstand head scissors take down followed by a drop kick. Santos with a forearm to stop a springboard move by Ricochet and Ricochet goes to the floor. Santos with a metaphorical arrow and he hits a suicide dive that sends Ricochet onto the announce table. They return to the ring and Santos with a Liontamer. Ricochet with a boot and Santos with a boot to the back.
Santos with a surfboard and a Gory Special and he gets a near fall. Escobar gets Ricochet up but Ricochet with an elbow. Ricochet with a shoulder from the apron and then Ricochet sets for a suplex to the floor but Santos blocks it. Santos tries to suplex Ricochet back into the ring but Ricochet blocks it. Santos goes to the apron and Ricochet with a kick to send him to the floor. Ricochet with a thrust kick and a shooting star press off the apron.
We go to commercial.
We are back and Ricochet and Santos exchange punches on the turnbuckles and Ricochet is sent to the mat. Ricochet gets back to the turnbuckles and this a superplex. Ricochet gets a near fall. They exchange forearms and then they turn to kicks. Santos with punches and Ricochet with forearms. Both men go for cross body presses and they bump heads and go down. Santos rolls to the floor to avoid Ricochet. Ricochet rolls to the floor and Santos moves away from Ricochet. They set to do something and Ricochet jumps off the ring steps and lands on the ringside barrier. Santos jumps onto the ringside barrier and Santos with a Frankensteiner onto the floor. They return to the ring.
Santos gets a near fall. Santos gets another near fall. Santos with an elbow drop to the back and he applies a rear chin lock. Santos with a chop. Santos puts Ricochet on the turnbuckles and Santos with an enzuigiri. Ricochet with punches to Santos on the turnbuckles and he pushes Santos to the mat. Santos rolls to the apron and he chops Ricochet and gets to the top rope. Santos with a Frankensteiner but Ricochet lands on his feet. Santos is not happy and Ricochet with a running knee and a Fisherman suplex and he rolls through into a suplex. Ricochet with a quebrada for a near fall.
Ricochet with a drop kick that sends Escobar into the turnbuckles and Escobar goes down. Ricochet goes up top and he sets for the shooting star press and Escobar gets his knees up and Escobar gets a near fall. Santos with knees and he sets for the Phantom Driver. Santos with knees to Ricochet and Ricochet with a rollup to counter the Phantom Driver. Escobar with a poisonrana for a near fall. Santos with punches and he gets Ricochet on his shoulders and he climbs the turnbuckles. Ricochet escapes and hits a super poisonrana. Ricochet with a jumping knee and a round kick and a thrust kick. Ricochet goes up top and hits the 630 splash for the three count.
Winner: Ricochet
After the match, Ricochet holds up the trophy. Gunther comes out to confront the man he will face in two weeks.
