In recent years, WWE has made an effort to give wrestlers more time off and spend the holidays with their families.
It was previously reported that WWE would give the main roster wrestlers the week of Christmas off before returning to work on December 26th for its annual post-Christmas tour.
Pwinsider reports that NXT talent will also be given time off as WWE will tape two upcoming episodes of television in preparation for the holiday break. The plan is for NXT to air live on Tuesday, December 13, as normal.
The following day, the brand will tape the December 20 and December 27 episodes of the show before going back to live broadcasts on January 3, 2023.
WWE will present the NXT Deadline special this Saturday, featuring two Iron Survivor Challenge matches and NXT Champion Bron Breakker vs. Apollo Crews.
