The Motor City Machine Guns (Alex Shelley & Chris Sabin) are the new IMPACT Tag Team Champions, defeating Heath & Rhino on tonight’s IMPACT Wrestling episode.
The two teams battled on the December 8 episode of IMPACT, but the match ended in a disqualification when the Major Players (Matt Cardona & Brian Myers) interfered, setting up a rematch between MCMG and Heath & Rhino. The Major Players were banned from ringside in the rematch.
This marks the third reign as IMPACT Tag Team Champions for Motor City Machine Guns. Heath & Rhino won the titles on the October 20 episode of IMPACT. Motor City Machine Guns are also the reigning NJPW STRONG Tag Team Champions.
