
FTR and The Briscoes will wage war one more time.
In the main event of tonight’s AEW Dynamite, FTR (Dax Harwood & Cash Wheeler) challenged The Acclaimed for the AEW World Tag Team Championship. At the end of the hard-fought match, The Acclaimed scored the win.
After the bell, determined to add insult to injury, The Gunns (Austin & Colten Gunn) delivered a message to Harwood and Wheeler. In the spirit of Christmas, Austin and Colten gave the ROH World Tag Team Champion a gift, which turned out to a card. The text was apparently written in blood, and in it, The Briscoes (Mark and Jay Briscoe) challenged FTR to a match at ROH Final Battle.
The Gunns then pulled dog collars out of Christmas stockings to reveal that FTR will face The Briscoes in a Double Dog Collar Match at the pay-per-view.
FTR previously beat The Briscoes at ROH Supercard of Honor to win the gold. Harwood and Wheeler defeated the brothers in a rematch at ROH Death Before Dishonor in July.
Speaking of ROH, A new match have been added to Saturday’s Final Battle pay-per-view.
After appearing on tonight’s show in a battle royal, Dalton Castle will join forces with The Boys once again in a ROH World Six Man Tag Team Championship match against The Embassy (Brian Cage, Bishop Kaun, & Toa Liona). The Embassy has teamed together in trios action on recent episodes of AEW Dark.
Since winning the titles in July, Dalton Castle and The Boys have successfully defended the ROH World Six Man Tag Team Championships on two separate occasions.

On today’s Final Battle Media Call, Tony Khan revealed that Ring Of Honor storylines will be featured less on AEW programming going forward. Khan also teased that news regarding ROH’s TV situation will be revealed following Final Battle.
