Both WWE SmackDown And AEW Rampage Draw Really Bad Numbers

The latest edition of WWE Friday Night SmackDown saw the ratings be down. The show averaged 902,000 viewers on FS1, which is down from 2.166 million viewers a week ago on FOX, according to Brandon Thurston of WrestleNomics.

In the all-important 18-49 demographic, the show did a 0.25 rating, down from the 0.54 rating a week ago. This was the post-Survivor Series show for the SmackDown brand. Ratings were expected to be down due to the move to a different station that is in far fewer homes on cable instead of broadcast like FOX.

The previous SmackDown episode on FS1 drew 835,000 viewers and a 0.23 key demo rating.

The show had to go up against the PAC 12 Championship Game on FOX, which was why the show moved to FS1 this week. The game did over 6 million viewers and a 1.57 key demo rating. SmackDown ranked #5 on cable for the night.
