AEW Is Reportedly Being Cautious With Adam Cole

AEW Is Reportedly Being Cautious With Adam Cole – Adam Cole has been on the sidelines for months and there is still no timetable on when he will return to the squared circle.

The former ROH World Champion has been out of action since he suffered a serious concussion at the Forbidden Door pay-per-view in June when he worked a Four-Way for the IWGP World Heavyweight Championship on the show with Jay White, Kazuchika Okada, and Hangman Page.

In the match’s final moments, Cole collapsed and was immediately covered by White. Cole appeared for one show in August so he, Kyle O’Reilly, and Bobby Fish could turn on The Young Bucks, but he hasn’t been seen on TV since.

It was previously revealed that Cole suffered a concussion before Forbidden Door, leading to the feeling that they would give him plenty of time to recover from the second concussion.

Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer noted on Twitter that the promotion is being cautious with Cole:

He’s doing much better. The last I heard is they were being cautious. Don’t have any time frame for a return. With concussions, you can’t predict time frame.
