People Not Happy About The Elite Mocking CM Punk On Dynamite

People Not Happy About The Elite Mocking CM Punk On Dynamite – Last night on AEW Dynamite, many of the fans in Chicago booed The Elite. There were cheers but at times, the CM Punk chants and the boos took over as The Young Bucks and Kenny Omega played into the negative reaction from some.

This was expected because they were in Chicago and the antics during the match led some to believe that perhaps, something was worked out with Punk to turn all this into a storyline.

Apparently, that is not the case because Dave Meltzer stated on Wrestling Observer Radio that he heard from people close to CM Punk and they were not thrilled with what they saw.

“I know that there’s people close to CM Punk that boy, were they not happy with that 6-man tag match,” Meltzer said on Wrestling Observer Radio.

For those of you that missed it, The Bucks played into the “F**k The Elite” and “F**k CM Punk” chants. At one point, Omega bit Penta’s arm apparently to play off the reports that Ace Steel bit him in the arm during the backstage fight. Also, Matt Jackson mocked Punk’s botched Buckshot Lariat from Double Or Nothing and Omega hit the GTS. Click here to watch the Punk-related clips from last night.
