Big Drop In Viewership Numbers For This Week's AEW Dynamite

This week’s AEW Dynamite viewership saw a big decrease on November 16, which was headlined by a go-home promo between Jon Moxley and MJF for this Saturday’s AEW Full Gear pay-per-view.

According to Showbuzz Daily, 818,000 viewers watched the show on Wednesday night, and it drew a 0.28 rating in the 18 to 49 demographic. The viewership was down from the November 9 episode when 930,000 viewers tuned in. The demo also dropped from last week‘s episode, which drew a 0.32 rating in the same demographic.

With the decrease in viewership, AEW Dynamite took the fourth spot in the demographic among cable originals overall last night. On cable, they were defeated by ESPN’s coverage of NBA Basketball, according to Showbuzz Daily.

This week’s show kicked off with a tag team match, which saw Bryan Danielson and Claudio Castagnoli defeat Sammy Guevara and Ring of Honor World Champion Chris Jericho. The close of the show featured a promo from AEW World Champion Jon Moxley that was interrupted by The Firm, MJF made the save for Moxley, and the two spoke to one another about their match at Full Gear to end the night.
