WWE RAW Season Premiere Results (10/10) – WWE RAW season premiere opens up with WWE Hall of Famers DX backstage – Shawn Michaels, “Road Dogg” Brian James, and Sean “X-Pac” Waltman.
They’re hyped up and ready to go do their 25th Anniversary Celebration. Chief Content Officer Triple H gets up from the table and takes his headset off. He says tonight is a big night, much more than their 25th Anniversary Celebration. It’s the RAW season premiere, there are sponsors here tonight, and they just can’t go out and do their thing right now. He tells them whatever they do, no cursing, no talk of genitals. Road Dogg asks if he can say penis. They all continue talking and now words are being bleeped out. Shawn says Triple H better enjoy the “bleep” out of tonight’s show. There are suddenly 4 rubber chickens on Triple H’s table. He asks who put 4 cocks there. The others walk off and Triple H yells to them, no fighting! He chokes one of the chickens and yells something else that is bleeped out as we cut to the RAW opening video.
— We are live from the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York City, as Kevin Patrick and Corey Graves welcome us and hype the show. They sent us to the arena where The Bloodline makes its way to the ring. While The Bloodline marches to the ring, we see what happened with Logan Paul on the SmackDown season premiere.
Paul hands Roman the mic and he tells Brooklyn to acknowledge him. Roman says when you respond like that, Roman says he has to be honest. He says when you are the greatest, you look at the future, but he cannot get past Friday. Roman says his father taught him something a long time ago. He told him that the loudest in the room is also the weakest in the room. Roman says if you are the weakest and you are part of this bloodline, you are a fool. Roman asks Jey if he is a fool. He says they have done this a few times before.
Sami apologizes for interrupting and Paul yells at Sami. Sami says on Friday, Roman told him that Jey was his problem. Sami says he would love to handle this situation. Roman smiles and he says that Sami really is the Honorary Uce. Roman tells Sami that he is all his.
Sami tells Jey that they love him and this is his family. He says the Tribal Chief and him were talking about the future direction of The Bloodline. He says they got into some personal stuff and he thinks they connected. They feel that Jey’s behavior hasn’t been very Uce-y. Sami says to look at Jimmy and who doesn’t love Jimmy? Look at Solo. Built like a brick house. He is serious but he is also cool. We are all pretty cool. We need you to be cool. He asks Jey if he can be cool.
Roman tells Jey not to look at him. Jey wants to know if Roman is ribbing him. Sami tells Jey he hates to be the guy but… Matt Riddle interrupts.
Riddle says they should be talking about Saturday, not Friday, when he made Seth Rollins tap out in the Fight Pit, bro. Riddle says he knows Reigns has beat him before and due to a stipulation, he can’t challenge him for the title… but come on. Riddle wants a match with Reigns, for the title, tonight. Fans chant “Bro!” now. Reigns asks Brooklyn if Riddle should get one more chance. They want the match but Reigns says no, a deal is a deal and Riddle needs to get back to the back of the line. Riddle says if Reigns won’t step up to the plate, maybe one of his Bloodline Bros will. Fans chant for Sami.
Jey encourages Sami to step up and face Riddle. Sami asks Riddle if he thinks he’s funny, and Riddle does. Sami yells at Riddle for saying “yeet!” but he says it again. Jey says Sami is being disrespected, so he should handle his business. Sami calls on Riddle to face him one-on-one tonight. Riddle accepts, yeet. The music starts up as Riddle dances around on the stage while The Bloodline watches from the ring.

Austin Theory vs. Johnny Gargano
Theory gets Gargano up but Gargano escapes. Gargano with punches and chops to Theory. Theory with a kick and punch but he misses a chop. Gargano with a chop. Gargano with kicks and a chop. Theory with an Irish whip and Gargano with a boot and rana. Gargano with a rollup and a rolling kick that sends Theory to the apron. Gargano with forearms and Theory struggles to stay on the apron. Gargano sets for a slingshot DDT on the apron but Theory blocks it and hits a brainbuster on the apron. Theory punches Gargano and then sends him to the floor.
Theory sends Gargano into the ringside barrier and then over the ringside barrier into the time keeper’s area. Theory takes a selfie of what he has done. Gargano gets back in the ring and Theory with a back breaker for a near fall. Theory with a reverse chin lock and Gargano with elbows but Theory with a back elbow. Theory gets a near fall. Theory with a reverse chin lock. Gargano with punches but Theory with a forearm. Gargano escapes a suplex and connects with forearms. Theory with a forearm and super kick. Gargano with a discus clothesline. Gargano with forearms and a cross body. Gargano with forearms and an enzuigiri. Gargano with a double knee strike in the corner but Theory sends Gargano to the apron. Gargano with a slingshot spear for a near fall.
Gargano goes for a baseball slide but Theory returns to the ring and Theory with a forearm as Gargano goes for another slingshot spear. Theory with Ataxia for a near fall. Theory and Gargano exchange forearms and then Gargano gets Theory to flinch and Gargano with a thrust kick to the knee. Gargano escapes A Town Down and Gargano misses a rolling kick. Theory with GargaNo Escape but Gargano with a rollup for a near fall. Gargano with La Mistica and he applies GargaNo Escape. Theory picks up Gargano and gets Gargano on his shoulders. Theory with a super kick and he punches Gargano.
Theory goes for the slingshot rolling drop kick but Gargano with a super kick. Gargano with a suicide dive into a DDT on the floor. Gargano sends Theory back into the ring and Gargano goes for the slingshot DDT and hits it for the three count.
Winner: Johnny Gargano
After the match, Gargano stands tall as the music hits. We go to replays. Gargano makes his exit to a pop as Theory tries to recover.

Rey Mysterio vs. Chad Gable
They lock up and Gable with a waist lock and wrist lock. Rey with a reversal and Gable with a drop toe hold. Gable with an arm bar into a side head lock. Gable with a shoulder tackle and then he rolls up Rey for a near fall. Gable with a side head lock take down. Rey with a kick and a head scissors take down that sends Gable to the floor. Rey drop kicks Gable to the floor and Rey with a sliding sunset flip power bomb into the ringside barrier.
Judgment Day’s music plays and Rhea and Dominik make their way to the ring and Rhea has an arm band for Beth.

We are back and Rey pushes Gable off the turnbuckles and hits a seated senton and a head scissors. Gable sends Rey into the turnbuckles. Rey gets on Gable’s shoulders and Gable sends Rey face first to the mat and hits a German suplex for a near fall. Rey with elbows when Gable goes for another German suplex. Gable with an ankle lock. Rey kicks Gable but Gable holds on to the ankle lock. Rey rolls through and sends Gable shoulder first into the ring post. Rey with a pescado but Otis catches Rey. Rey sends Otis into the ring post. Rey gets to the apron in front of Dominik and Rhea. Rey goes for a head scissors from the apron and Rey sends Gable into the ropes and hits a 619 followed by a splash for the three count.
Winner: Rey Mysterio
After the match, Dominik gets in the ring and Rey starts to walk away but Rhea is on the apron. Dominik wants Rey to hit him and Dominik pushes his father. He asks what is he going to do about it. Rey puts his hands behind his back and Dominik slaps Rey. Rey with a forearm to Priest and a head scissors to Finn. Rey drop kicks Finn into the ropes. Rey goes for a 619 but Dominik with a clothesline.
Rey wants to know why while Dominik tells his father to hit him. Rey has rage in his eyes but it does not translate to his fists. Dominik hits Rey from behind and Rhea holds Rey in the ropes. Dominik with a 619 to Rey.
We go to commercial as fans chant “asshole”.
In the Arena:
The Judgment Day are still in the ring. Rhea says like she said every week since you can’t get it through your thick skulls… we run Raw. Priest says you hate to hear truth. Rhea spoke truth. Everyone who steps to us falls while THE Judgment Day rises. Priest says he wants to talk about how Finn handled business at Extreme Rules.
Finn says when you come at Finn, you best not miss. To all of the people cheering and partying and celebrating Edge’s miracle return, here is the cold hard truth. I ended the party. I stopped the celebration. I am the one who pissed on your parade. I made Edge say the words ‘I Quit’. Finn asks Dominik what did he make Edge say. He asks Priest what did he do. Finn says he don’t quit because he is too legit to quit.
Finn asks if we have seen it since Saturday night so we get to see highlights from the I Quit match.
Rhea says it brings a tear to her eye. Rhea calls Beth a joke. She says that what she did to Beth was a bit of what she could do.
Dominik says watching Rhea in action, smacking Edge’s wife, Beth Phoenix, with the conchairto, did it for him and he knows it did it for all of you as well. Dom says his favorite part other than 619ing his father was seeing the devastated look on his face on Saturday night. He deserves to feel as useless and helpless as he made me feel my entire life.
Finn says that brings it to Uncle Alan… AJ Styles. Finn says he hopes AJ reconsidered things because he has just about run out of mercy. He is offering AJ and ultimatum. AJ Styles’ music plays before Finn can officially call him out.
AJ asks if it has come down to an ultimatum. Finn says AJ made it harder than it had to be. AJ says he is not out here to argue. AJ says Finn is right. Everything that he ever needed was standing right in front of him. With his back against the wall, he has been alone too long. There is a time when you need friends. AJ says he needs family. He asks if he is not his brother’s keeper.
AJ gets down on his knees to be knighted. Finn shakes AJ’s hand and they hug. Finn says he is so proud of AJ and he knew he would come around. AJ says he is not talking about Finn.
Karl Anderson and Luke Gallows come to the ring for their official WWE return.
Gallows, Anderson, and Styles work over Priest, Dominik, and Finn. Rhea kicks Anderson while Gallows punches Priest. Balor and AJ remain in the ring and Finn goes to the floor but AJ follows and he runs Finn over the announce table. Gallows hits Priest with a chair. Gallows punches Priest into the crowd. The rest of THE Judgment Day escape through the crowd, except for Balor, who is surrounded. Finn gets to the other side of the ring and goes to the back.
Backstage:
We go to Byron Saxton with Bayley. Byron asks Bayley if what happened on Saturday was a setback on their plans to take over the women’s division. Dakota says she has this. She says if you want to talk about setbacks, why do you think Bayley brought her back at SummerSlam. She was at rock bottom and Bayley extended her hand to Dakota. Dakota says she prays that someone will try to hurt her friends. Can you say that about Asuka, Bianca, or Alexa. Iyo says something to Dakota. She says they have no idea what they will do for Bayley. When Bayley gets her rematch, they will make sure that Bayley wins. Iyo says she does not like Bianca and speaks in Japanese. Bayley says she will kick Candice’s ass tonight.

Backstage:
We are back and Roman Reigns, Paul Heyman and Solo Sikoa are about to leave and Jey Uso wants to talk to Roman. Roman tells Jey to stay. He tells Jey to go wherever Sami goes. He tells Jey to make sure his Honorary Uce wins. Roman says Solo is with him tonight.
Candice LeRae vs. Bayley
Bayley with forearms to Candice and she backs her into the corner and follows with kicks. Bayley with a shoulder tackle for a near fall. Candice with an arm drag or two followed by a drop toe hold and a drop kick. Candice with a leap frog neck snap for a near fall. Bayley with a punch as she holds her ribs. Bayley sends Candice to the apron and Bayley misses a shoulder. Candice kicks Bayley and she hits a missile drop kick. Bayley goes to the floor.
Candice with a baseball slide that sends Bayley into the ringside barrier. They return to the ring but Bayley goes back to the floor. Bayley sends Candice face first into the ring post and then sends her into the ring and wrings the leg into the ring post. Bayley gets a near fall. Bayley with kicks to Candice. Bayley chokes Candice in the ropes and then she kicks Candice in the corner. Bayley puts Candice’s leg in the ropes to add more damage. Bayley with a suplex for a near fall. Bayley kicks Candice in the leg. Candice kicks Bayley away and gets a near fall with an inside cradle. Candice with a rollup for a near fall. Candice with a punch. Candice with forearms and chops. Candice with an elbow into the corner and a snap mare and step up back senton. Candice with a drop kick for a near fall.
Bayley runs Candice into the turnbuckles but Candice with a boot and she goes to the turnbuckles. Bayley pushes Candice off the turnbuckles and Candice’s leg gets caught in the ropes. Bayley with a KneeDT and she tries for Rose Plant but Candice with an inside cradle for the three count.

After the match, Dakota and Iyo attack Candice and bring her back to the ring. Dakota with a kick and Iyo with a butterfly back breaker.
Bianca Belair hobbles to the ring and stops Dakota. Bayley holds Bianca and Dakota and Iyo with drop kicks to Bianca. Bayley with a running kick to Candice. Bayley goes to the turnbuckles while Iyo and Dakota hold Bianca. Bayley with an elbow drop off the turnbuckles to the back.
Backstage:
Miz walks in the back past a person with a QR code on his back. Miz sees Maryse and thinks this is not a good idea because of he who shall not be named. Maryse says she has planned this for months and has a present for Miz and it is a baseball bat.

In the Arena:
We are back and Maryse says tonight is a special night because we get to celebrate the birthday of her husband. She brings out The Miz. Miz says Maryse outdid herself and she made him feel special.
Miz says the bat was signed by the best deep ball hitter in baseball, Jose Ramirez. Miz asks if you thought he would say Aaron Judge. You think he is the best player in the league, but if you think having the best player means you win, she has two words for you… Kevin Durant. Maryse tells Miz to open a present and he pulls off a cover and there are two giant balls. Miz says he loves his gift. She tells Miz to open the big one.
Miz grabs a present and it is hollow because Dexter Lumis’ head is in the table. Miz attacks the table with the bat but Dexter has escaped. Dexter slides behind Miz and applies Silence and Maryse is kicked into the table and then into the cake.
Miz runs away while Maryse is in the ring with Dexter. Maryse turns around and sees Dexter. Maryse leaves the ring and walks away. Dexter grabs the knife and he punctures Miz’ right ball and then he does the same to the left one. Dexter sees the cake and he cuts a piece for himself.
— Seth Rollins is in the back and his ribs are taped up.

Backstage:
We are back and DX are talking to Joey and Chico and they are trying to motivate them against Omos. DX tell them they have this against Omos.
Miz and Maryse stop by and want to know if they have seen Triple H. He says he is sick of what Dexter did to his massive gifts. Road Dogg asks if they can have some cake. Shawn says Dexter is a good guy. He says Miz had to do something to piss off Dexter. Miz says he will do anything to get rid of Dexter. Road Dogg says Miz faces Dexter next week and if Miz wins, Dexter is gone but if Dexter wins, he gets Miz’ massive gifts and Shawn says Dexter gets a contract. Miz accepts the match.
Joey and Chico vs. Omos
Omos sends Torres to the mat and then Adams tries to escape. Omos with snake eyes to Adams followed by a running shoulder tackle. Omos suplexes Torres back into the ring. Adams leaps on Omos’ back and runs him into the turnbuckles. Omos with a splash to Torres. Omos grabs both of them by the throat and hits a double choke slam for the three count.
Winner: Omos
After the match, Omos choke slams Torres and then he does the same to Adams.

Bobby Lashley vs. Seth Rollins for the United States Championship
Bobby Lashley makes his way to the ring and, before the match, he has something to say.
Bobby Lashley says that he is going to be a fighting champion for all of you. At this point, he has beaten some of the best in the business. I have beaten Drew McIntyre, Roman Reigns, Brock Lesnar, and now Seth Rollins thinks he didn’t have a fair shot at his title. He tells Seth to come to the ring.
Bobby is interrupted by Brock Lesnar’s music as he walks down to the ring!
Lesnar stares down Lashley from the ramp, then heads to the ring as the pyro goes off. Lashley looks on from the ring. Lesnar enters the ring and posts up in the corner. He laughs and takes the mic – “well, holy shit!” Lesnar says good evening to Brooklyn, and to Lashley as he moves closer to him. Lesnar immediately hits Lashley with the mic, then drops him with a F5 in the middle of the ring.
Fans chant “one more time!” as Lesnar looks down at Lashley. Lesnar looks to leave but then he launches Lashley with a German suplex. Lesnar with another F5 in the middle of the ring. Fans chant “one more time!” now. Lesnar grabs Lashley by the arm and drops him into the Kimura Lock. Lesnar finally breaks the hold and stares down at Lashley. Lesnar makes his exit and stops to smile back at the ring as Lashley tries to recover.
We go to commercial.
We are back and we see the medical staff and referees checking on Bobby.
Seth Rollins’ music plays and he makes his way to the ring and he demands that the match take place.
Lashley holds his wrist as he is helped to the back. Rollins picks up the mic and he says that he knows that Bobby can hear him. He says that Bobby is not getting out of the match that easily. You said you were a fighting champion. Seth says Bobby is supposed to be a fighter and a champion. Seth says that Bobby is supposed to be a soldier, but you’re not. You’re a disgrace to the US Title and to your country.
Lashley returns to the ring ad asks for the bell.
Lashley goes for a spear but Rollins counters into a Pedigree for a near fall. Rollins with a frog splash and he gets a near fall. Rollins sets for Black Out and he misses. Lashley with a spear that would be roughing the passer in the NFL. Lashley goes for the full nelson but Lashley with elbows to the injured arm. Rollins with a rolling elbow and a super kick. Rollins with a rolling elbow to the back of the head and he kicks the injured arm. Rollins with Black Out and then Rollins plays to the crowd instead of finishing Lashley off.
Rollins goes for a second Black Out and hits it again for the three count.

Bobby Lashley walks in the back and Byron ambushes him. Bobby says he is pissed off. What Brock did was unforgiveable. Bobby says he is not done with Seth, but he is going to kick Brock’s ass. He challenges Brock to show up next week on Raw.

Matt Riddle vs. Sami Zayn
They lock up and Sami with a side head lock and shoulder tackle. Sami with a side head lock. Riddle with a round kick to the upper chest followed by a knee to the ribs. Riddle with a kick and forearm. Riddle with a forearm for a near fall. Riddle with a reverse chin lock. Sami gets a near fall. Sami with a forearm and then he chokes Riddle in the ropes. Jey kicks Riddle in the ropes and Sami tells Jey he is handling it.
Riddle sends Sami to the floor and Riddle goes to the apron and misses a kick. Sami drops Riddle on the apron and Sami hits an Arabian Press.
We go to commercial.
We are back and Sami sends Riddle into the turnbuckles a few times. Sami goes to the turnbuckles and hits an elbow to the top of the head and Sami gets a near fall. Sami goes back to the turnbuckles and he misses a punch. Riddle with a Pele Kick and both men are down. Riddle with strikes and a kick followed by an exploder. Riddle with a kick to the chest and a back senton. Riddle with a forearm but Sami with a Michinoku Driver for a near fall. Sami goes up top and Riddle stops him. Sami with a head butt to send Riddle to the mat. Sami comes off the turnbuckles and Riddle with a knee for a near fall.
Riddle goes to the turnbuckles and Sami tries to stop him but Riddle kicks Sami away. Riddle is pulled off the turnbuckles and Sami stops Jey from interfering. Riddle with a rollup for a near fall. Riddle with a head scissors to send Sami to the floor. Riddle with a twisting Asai Moonsault. Riddle sends Sami back into the ring. Riddle with kicks to the chest. Riddle with a round kick to the temple for a near fall. Riddle puts Sami on the turnbuckles. Sami with forearms to Riddle on the turnbuckles and he sets for a sunset flip power bomb and hits it for a near fall.
Sami sets for the exploder into the turnbuckles but Riddle blocks it. Sami with elbows and Riddle with a triangle. Sami taps air but he does not tap the mat. Sami reaches for the ropes and gets his foot on the ropes to break the hold. Riddle sets for the RKO but Sami escapes it. Sami and Riddle both with clotheslines and both men go down. Sami and Riddle exchange punches. Sami with a kick but Riddle avoids a kick and Riddle with a knee. Sami with an exploder into the turnbuckles. Sami sets for a Helluva Kick but Riddle with a power slam. Sami goes to the apron and Riddle sets for the IEDDT but Sami sends Riddle to the floor.
Riddle with a kick to Sami and Jey holds Jimmy back. Riddle with more kicks to Sami while Jey enjoys what is happening. Riddle misses a kick and Sami goes for the Blue Thunder Bomb but Riddle escapes and hits an RKO for the three count.

In the Arena:
DX’s music plays and they come out to the ring in a jeep.
Waltman takes the mic and calls on the fans to make some noise. He gives a shout-out to the “magic ingredient” of DX, the late WWE Hall of Famer Chyna. Road Dogg does his signature intro, calling them Geriatric-X, and lets the crowd say Billy Gunn’s name. They joke around about how it smells in here, and Triple H says it’s been 25 years. He asks who was watching them 25 years ago. They joke some more about being so old. Triple H has one thing he wants to know – are you ready? No, Brooklyn… Are. You. Ready!? Triple H continues his shtick for the thousands in attendance and the millions watching at home, and for 25 years… they would like to say thank you and we love you all. Triple H has to stop and catch his breath before finishing the “let’s get ready to suck it!” line.
Michaels speaks and fans chant “HBK!” now. Michaels wants the fans to promise to put them out of their misery if they’re out here in 25 more years. And if you’re not down with that, they’ve got two words for ya… suck it! The DX music starts back up as Triple H, Michaels, Waltman and Road Dogg celebrate, and pose for the crowd while the DX graphics cover the screen. The RAW season premiere goes off the air with DX posing in the middle of the ring.
