The latest edition of WWE SmackDown averaged 2.207 million viewers on FOX, down from 2.535 million a week ago, according to Brandon Thurston of WrestleNomics.
In the all-important 18-49 demographic, the show did a 0.54 rating, down from the 0.63 rating a week ago. Last week was the highest ratings of 2022 as the key demo rating hadn’t been this high since the September 10, 2021 episode with a 0.65 while the highest total viewership was on March 20, 2020.
Here’s the breakdown of each demo for the show compared to last week:
- Viewers 18-34 – 0.30 – a week ago: 0.44
- Viewers 18-49 – 0.54 – a week ago: 0.63
- Viewers 25-54 – 0.71 – a week ago: 0.80
- Female viewers 18-49 – 4.7 – a week ago: 4.9
- Male viewers 18-49 – 6.7 – a week ago: 9.2
- Viewers 50+ – 3.1 – a week ago: 3.6

- 9/2/22: 2,077,000 viewers – 0.49 key demo rating – Clash at the Castle go-home show
- 9/9/22: 2,367,000 viewers – 0.57 key demo rating – Clash at the Castle fallout
- 9/16/22: 2,212,000 viewers – 0.50 key demo rating
- 9/23/22: 2,535,000 viewers – 0.63 key demo rating
- 9/30/22: 2,207,000 viewers – 0.54 key demo rating
As for AEW Rampage, the show drew 472,000 viewers and a 0.16 rating in the 18-49 demographic on TNT in the 10 pm ET time slot. Last week the show did 522,000 viewers and a 0.17 rating.
Rampage ranked #9 in the top 150 shows on cable for the night, down from last week with a #4 ranking. Brandon Thurston of WrestleNomics reported the news. Here’s the breakdown of each demo for the show:
