The 30th anniversary of WWE Monday Night Raw is approaching and there are plans being worked out for the show.
WrestleVotes reported today that plans are in motion for the show and when Vince McMahon was still running the company, there was talk about the show happening at the Manhattan Center in New York City. That was the home for Raw during the early years of the show.
As you might recall, the 25th anniversary of Raw took place in two locations. Portions of the show aired at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn and other parts of the show aired from the Manhattan Center. That show featured several returning names, including Stone Cold Steve Austin. The show kicked off with Austin stunning Vince McMahon and his son Shane.
There’s no word on who might be brought in but expect to see some returning legends to make cameo appearances.
WrestleVotes tweeted: “I’m told plans are in motion for the 30th Anniversary of RAW show coming up in January. Prior to the new leadership taking over, having the show from The Manhattan Center again in NYC was on the table. I’m unaware if that’s the case still.”
