A segment vignette aired tonight on WWE SmackDown Season Premiere that seemingly teases someone debuting or a return.
A man spoke and said that “fools” should not confuse absence with weakness and they have grown stronger. A woman who sounded a lot like Sarah Logan then spoke about praying to Valhalla. Logan also appeared in a Viking Raiders vignette that aired in August. Click here to see it.
Nothing is confirmed but this looks like it’s leading to the return of one or both of The Viking Raiders. Last month, WWE announced during SmackDown that Erik suffered a foot injury and he would be out “indefinitely.” The injury happened during a match with The New Day.
It was never said how severe the foot injury was so it’s possible that Erik is close to being cleared for action or Ivar will wrestle as a singles wrestler.
