Solo Sikoa Stripped Of The NXT North American Title– Shawn Michaels lays down the law in regard to the NXT North American Championship on tonight’s NXT episode.
The end of last week’s episode of NXT saw Solo Sikoa defeat Carmelo Hayes for the NXT North American Championship.
Solo even defended that title on Friday’s SmackDown. Solo was never meant to challenge for the title as Wes Lee won a fan vote to have the right to challenge Carmella Hayes. Because Sikoa wasn’t even a choice for the vote. Therefore, Shawn Michaels has now declared that due to the circumstances surrounding his victory, Solo Sikoa must forfeit the title.
Solo gladly forfeited the title tonight, revealing that he simply had unfinished business, and last week, he took care of it. Shawn Michaels also refused to simply hand the title back to Carmelo Hayes, informing Hayes that in six weeks, he will have the opportunity to once again earn the title in a Fatal 5-Way Ladder Match at NXT Halloween Havoc.
In the past, Halloween Havoc has been a television special for NXT, but this year, it is scheduled to be a premium live event, as reported by Fightful Select.
