Oro Mensah Makes NXT Debut In Big Winning Effort

Oro Mensah Makes NXT Debut – On tonight’s edition of WWE NXT, a star from NXT UK debuted in a match against Grayson Waller with future championship implications.

To determine who would go on to compete in the ladder match for the North American Championship at Halloween Havoc, Grayson Waller took on Oro Mensah.

In a backstage segment, Mensah revealed that Oro means Gold.

Oro was previously known as Oliver Carter in NXT UK.

After a distraction at ringside from a spooky looking Apollo Crew, who appeared with a bloody eye to interrupt Waller’s running Stunner, Waller was ripe for the picking!

The debuting Mensah was able to pick up the big win to progress to the North American Championship ladder match at Halloween Havoc.

Elsewhere on NXT, Wes Lee detailed that while he could have simply taken a spot in the ladder match after having won the fan vote for the opportunity during the one year anniversary edition of NXT 2.0, however he wanted to earn the spot instead.
