NXT Spoilers For 9/27

NXT Spoilers For 9/27 – Below are the full results of the September 27 episode of the show, per PWInsider. The spoilers for the September 20 episode of the show, can be seen here.

It seems the reason for pre-taping two weeks of shows is to give WWE time to set up the PC for the rebranding back to ‘black and gold’, so that’ll likely be happening on October 4, meaning the September 20 and 27 shows will still have the ‘2.0’ branding.

— Joe Gacy (with The Dyad [Rip Fowler and Jagger Reid]) defeated Cameron Grimes. The person in the red hoodie was seen again in the crowd.

— Sol Ruca defeated Amari Miller

— Nikkita Lyons (with Zoey Stark) defeated Kayden Carter (with Katana Chance)

— Ilja Dragunov came to the ring and cut a promo discussing his past involving winning the NXT UK Title and being forced to relinquish it. JD McDonagh interrupted and the two exchanged words over Ilja taking JD out of NXT UK while JD begins to wonder if he should take credit for Ilja’s injury causing him to relinquish the title. Bron Breakker comes out. JD at first claims that due to being the #1 Contender, Ilja and Bron should fight each other for the right to face him. Bron mentions due to being a Steiner, he’s good at math and he has 33 1/3 chance of beating both of them at Halloween Havoc and a Triple Threat match is made.

— Damon Kemp defeated Brutus Creed. (It appeared that the ending to this match would later possibly be retaped)

— Wes Lee defeated Tony D’Angelo (with Channing “Stacks” Lorenzo) via referee stoppage. Lorenzo got ejected during the match. Tony got thrown into the middle turnbuckle and doctors checked on him. They soon afterward called for the bell and declared Wes Lee the winner. Tony needed to be helped backstage from a few people. Read more about Tony D’Angelo at this link.

Mandy Rose (with Gigi Dolin and Jacy Jayne) defeated Fallon Henley in a non-title match. All three stood in the ring after. Mandy talked about Alba Fyre who came on the screen and mentioned she’d be coming for the Women’s Championship.

— It was at this point that they seemed to re-tape the ending to the Kemp/Brutus match. Brutus came out and called out Damon Kemp Damon came out but there was no bell implying the re-shoot. The finish was a no contest as Damon used a chair several times to beat down Brutus. He yelled into the camera, presumably at Julius Creed.

— Ilja Dragunov defeated Xyon Quinn

— In a Pub Rules Match, Josh Briggs and Brooks Jensen defeated Wolfgang and Mark Coffey of Gallus. The match saw garbage cans, chairs, and tables used. There were also bar tables with kegs and mugs set up near ringside. At one point both members of Gallus used their belts to whip Briggs and Jensen before Briggs and Jensen turned it around and used it themselves. Joe Coffey came out toward the end and was knocked off the apron through a table that was set up at ringside. Wolfgang went through a table in the corner. Briggs and Jensen hit their finisher on Mark Coffey who had a garbage can wrapped around him to win the match. Fallon Henley came out to celebrate the win with Briggs and Jensen. Gallus had security surrounding them at ringside and one of the members appeared to take out a referee so they were escorted out by security as well as local authorities.
