Location For 2023 AEW Revolution Revealed – AEW will hold its first pay-per-view event of 2023 with Revolution and it looks like the promotion has locked down a location for the show.
According to Fightful Select, the show is set to take place at the Cow Palace in San Francisco, the first wrestling event to occur at the venue since the 2019 NJPW G1 Special. AEW has only run California twice since they launched, which took place in Ontario and Los Angeles.
The show usually happens in February or March, but an exact date has yet to be determined.
This will mark the first wrestling show from the Cow Palace since NJPW’s G1 Special there in 2019 while WWE hasn’t booked a show at the venue in over ten years and it’s been over 15 years since they held television there.
The max capacity is roughly 14,000, but that could potentially be bigger depending on how AEW decides to do their setup.
Until AEW announces the location, it’s not official as PPV venues can change such as AEW Full Gear last year and this year’s WWE Money in the Bank and Impact’s Bound For Glory.
AEW will hold its next event, Full Gear, on November 19th.
